He’s probably never had a girl into him before. Sexually or emotionally. And then you come along head over heals for him and Eddie is so fucking happy. You wanna be with him? You wanna be seen with him?
Eddie is eccentric and bold and energetic. He’s had so much love to give and no one to fully give it to. He is enthusiastic he can finally show and give all his love to someone. He’s so extra with it. Giving you so much affection. Gifts. Maybe write a song or two about you. He’ll be the cheesiest boyfriend ever. And Eddie knows this and he wants to be that boyfriend.
He wants to be above the Steve Harrington of boyfriends. He used to stare at Harrington and Wheeler from time to time. How affectionate Steve would be to Nancy. Kissing her at her locker. Taking her to class. Now Eddie finally has the chance to do that to his girl. His perfect pretty girl.
He calls you princess. Obviously. He likes to think of you ever wanted to play dnd he would make you a princess. He also likes the term sweetheart. Baby at certain times. He picks and chooses his nicknames wisely. He doesn’t want to use them so often they loose meaning but he also doesn’t want to use them not enough. He wants to use them the right enough. So he is able to see the flush on your cheeks the smile you give him. Prettiest smile he’s ever seen.
The minute he sees you? Head over heals too. No matter what you look like personally eddie is in love with you.
Imagine him seeing you for the first time. Eddie is confident, he’ll go up to girls he likes trying to get a reaction out of them. Whether if it’s to humor his friends or even try his shot at a girl, it never really works out. Until you. He comes up to you. Asking you if you’re new cause he hasn’t seen you before. You giggle up at him and say you’ve been here for 4 years.
You giggle. You goddamn giggle at his words. Not a laugh, an encouraging giggle. You acknowledge him. Not ignore him, spit an insult at him, roll your eyes. And you respond. With words. Eddie is struck with so many emotions. But his instinct is to flirt.
“No no no no way, I would have noticed a beautiful girl like yourself before now.” He says shaking his hand a little and bouncing back and forth.
You roll your eyes at this. But playfully, sweetly. He’s head over heals for you. It’s official.
And he just stares at you with those big chocolate doe eyes. And you’re also head over heals for him.
“We’ll I know exactly who you are. Eddie Munson.” This name on your lips. Godly. He feels like he’s in heaven. A higher form of heaven. Pure bliss.
Anyways Eddie would just be the sweetest man and boyfriend ever. Giving all his love to his favorite girl.
