*hello.
Oops.
There it goes again.
"..... Are you okay? Do you need a box of tissues?"
*i guess a tissue wouldn't hurt
*it's just a spike of...
*anyway i'll be ok
Oops.
There it goes again.
*hey buddy
*you not familiar with knock knock jokes huh?
*stop that
Sans waved his hand to try and shoo the other's from his forehead.
"No. And I ain't familiar with skeletons that don't smell dead, either."
He'll stop, but he's still amused. Probably wouldn't have been as amusing if the guy actually did smell dead, he'd have reason to believe it was a threat. Arms folding, an eyebrow was raised. Some skeleton asking him to knock on his forehead wasn't his expectation for his visit to the well today.
"What are ya doin' here? 'N what the hell are... you..."
...
"...Where'dja get clothes like that?"
*from my home...world
Sans took a moment to really look around. Behind him, some sort of broken down well, covered in vegetation. A glance up, to see trees, hearing birds singing, and the blue sky, white fluffy clouds lazily drifting.
He...He needed a moment.
Sans looked back to the man with animal ears.
*although it looks like i'm not there anymore
*knock knock
Knock knock alright.
He's knock knocking on your forehead.

Where Past Meets Present....
The hybrid had fallen out of a portal and got herself stuck head first in a pile of snow. She ended up melting the pile and freeing herself before taking a look around. She immediately noticed the familiar setting of Snowdin, and it brings back memories. She was so nostalgic that she ended up speaking her mother's secret language.
"あらあらまあ. 何年もスノードインには行っていない……"
She soon fell silent and depressed as she remembers the last time she was in a Snowdin. She violently shakes her head to clear it of those depressing memories before steeling herself and making her way to Grillby's for a nice drink.
@bxdtimes
The hybrid instantly rolls her eyes at it all but she just couldn't stop herself from getting a little flustered at the wink.
"Whatever lets you sleep at night, Sans."
She is in clear denial and just refuses to give him the complete satisfaction of acknowledging that he is right. With that said she feels like she should take her leave as at this point she is overstaying her welcome. At least that is what she thinks anyway.
With a deep breath, she bounced a bit to make sure her hiking bag was fully strapped on properly before making her way to the front door. She grabs the door handle and looks back at Sans. Her face smiles at him but her eyes only show pain behind them.
"I better leave now. Don't want to overstay my welcome. Enjoy the new couch and maybe we'll see each other again soon."
Sans had pretty much metled into the spot he had chosen, relaxed, and slumped, part of his mandible hidden beneath the hoodie he wore.
*alright kid
*stay safe out there
*and drop by or something if you feel inclined to
He raised a hand, giving her a lazy wave.

The hybrid nods in understanding before opening up a portal back to the inside of Sans' house as close to the furniture as possible. She wants to be careful with this brand new couch and that is why she didn't just open the portal right underneath it like she did with the old one. With a smile, she moved herself into position to lift one of the ends of the plastic-wrapped couch.
"Okay. I'm ready to start lifting whenever you are."
Sans is thankful that she doesn't question him, or try to convince him. He took a quick look around, one last time, as Kokoro opened up the portal. He waved a hand at Kokoro.
*oh nah, hold on
*i got this
Sans' left socket glowed blue and yellow, a blue aura wrapping around the couch. He lifted a finger, the couch levitating slowly off the ground. As he walked backward into the portal, and into his home, the couch followed him through.
Kokoro didn't try to because she completely understands why. Forcing or convincing someone to say or do anything they truly didn't want was just cruel to her. She has seen her fair share of that happening throughout her travels and she just never liked that.
Oh... She forgot that all Sanses can do that so she was staring at the floating couch like Jack Sparrow did with the Black Pearl for a good few seconds before shaking out of it and jokingly yelling at him.
"Show off!"
Kokoro chuckles as she follows after him and the couch through the portal before it closed.
Of course he was a show off. He had cool magic, after all, so he would show it off. Plus, this was so much easier to do than just using pure physical strenght, something he kind of lacked, to move the couch.
*you're just jealous
He retorted with amusement, guiding the new couch down into the spot of the old one, adjusting it a bit, before he released his magic from it.
To be quite fair.... He is right in accusing Kokoro of being jealous that he has this ability but she won't admit that she is verbally. She thinks it is really cool and extremely useful. Meanwhile, all she has is fire-breathing which isn't even magic and instead is just biochemical systems. She has no magic whatsoever.
"Uh huh... Riiiight."
She is trying so hard to hide her jealousy by masking it underneath sarcasm but anyone with good listening and body language reading skills could easily detect past that.
Sans looked at Kokoro, snickering. Oh, she was trying to mask it, but he could read her.
*might want to wipe the sarcasm dripping from your chin
*its okay to be jealous
*i know i'm amazing
He gave her finger guns and a wink, before he plopped himself down on the couch, fully ready to make a dent shaped like him.

@bxdtimes
Kokoro chuckled a bit after being thanked again.
"You are starting to sound like a broken record there. It is fine, Sans. If Papyrus asks then just tell him that you got it from a friend. It is pretty much the truth and if he asks who then you are fine with having him ask me."
The clerk soon came back and handed her back the bag with only a few pieces of currency left inside. She nods and thanks the clerk for returning her bag before storing it back in the hiking bag as the clerk spoke up.
"Your couch is being brought out to the loading area as we speak. If you two leave the storefront and walk around the side of the building is where you can pick it up. Thank you for your purchase and I wish you both a good day."
With that said, the bear finally left them alone to help another customer.
*eh
*i can't be going around and around then
Sans shrugged. He was still thankful. Kokoro was a stranger pretty much, and was gifting a couch to his brother and himself. So yeah, thank yous were a must here, even if he sounded like a broken record.
The skeleton looked at the clerk and then back to Kokoro, skull tilted to the side. They had to go outside? He wasn't sure about that one, but he'd follow.
*guess we better get going
The hybrid chortled at the joke he made. Giving Sans and Papyrus a replacement couch for the one she destroyed after they saved her life was the least she could do. To her doing this was the right thing to do and wasn't fair to Sans and Papyrus if she didn't. It was also her way of thanking them.
After hearing the clerk along with Sans, she nods at them both and heads to the front door upon finding it with a smile.
Sans hesitated, but in the end, he followed Kokoro outside. He had to shield his eyes momentarily from the sun, and he blinked a few times. His eye lights shrunk lightly as he took a look around.
The sun was nice on his bones, the breeze was gentle. He breathed out lightly, looking at the sky with wonder, at how vaste it was.
Kokoro noticed him staring at the sky and she couldn't help but smile at the sight. This must be his first time seeing the sky.
"Enjoying the view? If you want I can get the couch and meet you back here. That way you can enjoy the sky a bit longer. Just don't stare at the sun for too long or else you'll go blind."
She chuckles at the small joke she made.
*i shouldn't
*ill never want to leave otherwise
*and thats not fair to everyone else
He went over to the couch and looked it over. He then looked back to Kokoro.
*we can go

But what about those with scars in all three categories, physical, mental, and emotional?
But what about the boys?

She smiles back and here comes the little bell sound again from her tail as she carefully gets off the couch with her short tail wagging. Once she is standing and away from the couch she opens up her wings to fly again.
"Okay. That settles it. I'll go get the clerk and make the purchase. Please wait here a bit."
With that said, she takes flight to look for an available representative. After a bit of flying around the entire store, she finds a humanoid bear monster wearing the store's uniform.
She politely gets his attention before landing and guiding the clerk to the very couch. She waved at Sans with a smile to show that she had returned before looking back at the bear.
"This is the couch I'd like to purchase please."
The bear monster takes a good look at the couch before looking back at both Kokoro and Sans with a smile.
"Ah yes. I can see why you two would pick that very one. It is very popular with couples. Excellent choice. I'll grab the paperwork real quick so we can finalize the purchase. Please excuse me."
Before she could correct the clerk he already ran off to get the paperwork. A blush of embarrassment was forming on her short muzzle.
Sans gave a look at the retreating bear, and blinked. Why did everyone assumed such a thing?
He was single, and wasn't looking to mingle at all. Not with all the resets happening.
He rubbed his face, huffing out quietly with a shake of his skull, before his hand retreated back into the pocket of his hoodie.
*welp
*new couch
*happy day
*you ok, kid?
*you're redder than a ketchup bottle
The embarrassment reached new heights when he pointed out her red face and she attempted to hide the growing redness with her wings and not giving him any eye contact.
"Y-yep! Just peachy keen! I certainly don't feel like I should just crawl into a hole and die....Nope! Not me! Heh heh!"
The bear comes right back with the paperwork and she immediately writes the date and that she would be paying the couch off in one go instead of doing a monthly plan. All that was left was her signature and the payment.
*if you say so
Well, he'd spare her for now. Sans seemed to just go with the flow for now, though he did give the bear a look. He shrugged and glanced back to Kokoro.
*thanks for getting the couch by the way
*appreciate it.
*this is... a lot nicer then whatever i could find at the dump
Kokoro pulls out a small wooden acorn attached to a small handmade bracelet from a pocket in her jeans. She then takes the bottom off of it to reveal that it is a seal. After stamping it in an ink pad, she stamps her seal onto the paperwork as her signature.
She lets out a pained sigh upon seeing the seal on the paperwork before she takes off her hiking bag and pulls out a bag full of this world's currency. The hybrid hands the clerk the entire bag.
"There should be enough funds to completely buy the couch."
The clerk gives Kokoro a nod before taking both the paperwork and the bag of cash back behind the counter. As the clerk starts counting out the currency, Kokoro turns back to Sans with a soft smile.
"It's really not a problem, Sans. You saved my life and I ruined your couch with both my blood and my tail piercing. Replacing the couch is the least I could do."
She honestly feels like she owes him much more than that, but for now, the couch is good.
*eh
*well, i don't think i did that much
*just the right thing to do
*maybe i should of collected those souls and given them to asogore
*anyway, thanks for the couch
*would have been ok to find something at the dump too. i just hope paps doesn't quesiton me too much.
The less he knew about timelines and what not was for the best. Sans could suffer alone, and in silence for everyone. He was good at that.
I have this fit in my closet that i adore so i quickly drew my queen in it. 🩷
