"Explain when I put my gun up? Really?" Honestly, Baekhyun couldn't help but scoff at the excuse. His suspicions were becoming more and more reasonable with every single syllable that left this stranger, no, intruder's lips. With a roll of his eyes and an almost obligatory sigh, he continues. "That's almost too perfect of a pretext for killing me right here. It'd be way too damn naive to trust you, but for some reason, part of me is telling me I should."
For a moment, he truly considers lowering his weapon completely, rendering himself nearly defenseless save hand-to-hand combat. Of course, he knows better. He could give an assortment of reasons to not trust people that he knows, let alone the seemingly infinite supply of reasons to distrust total strangers...
Especially ones that break into your apartment for no reason whatsoever, and then proceed to stick a gun against your head. All in the comfort of your home. Ah, but what do they say; home is where the heart is. And, I guess, the gun? That's not how the saying goes.
In his usual drawl, Baekhyun utters, "Have to trust you. Oh, okay. I'm sure that's a wonderful idea. What could possibly go wrong?" The vigilante loathes the idea of surrender entirely, especially in these types of situations, but in his mind, he decides that it's best to comply. At least for now.
As a result of this realization, lowers his weapon completely, but only after stealing an analytical glance at the intruder, making mental notes as is customary for him. Rather tall, especially in relation to he himself, somewhat soft-voiced. Wonder what the reasoning behind that is. On the thinner side, fair-skinned. Lanky. Decently attractive features. Kinda handsome. Wouldn't have a problem with doing him if the two were the last two people on Earth.
He's getting sidetracked. Focus. The point of the analysis is this: if the situation were to escalate to the point where violence was deemed necessary, could he handle himself against the assailant? Naturally, as it always was, is, and will be, the answer is yes.
