"I didnât do it."
It had been a relaxing Monday evening for Lu Han; heâd been sitting on the balcony of his spacious home overlooking his backyard, the gentle breeze and cool temperature of the air at this time of year doing nothing short of calm his nerves. The sound of the gentle air rustling the leaves on the trees and a few chirps of birds here and there are all that he heard in that moment â but of course, all good things must come to an end.
The crashing, cacophonous sound that resembles something similar to the shattering of glass interrupts the peaceful setting. The young businessman rushes inside his home, only to find his acquaintance standing over the ruins of one of the vases in the hallway that had fallen from its position atop a small table. He stares at the debris wide-eyed, and before he can even open his mouth to speak, the other beats him to it.
"I didnât do it."
Heâs not mad - truly, heâs not - and as heâs not one to lash out on anyone, let alone people with whom heâs friends, he simply looks around, sarcastically gesturing with his hand to the empty - save the two of them - hallway before speaking, laughing quietly as he does so. âThen who did, Lukas? That imaginary man in the corner of the room?â He shakes his head, patting the taller of the twoâs shoulder with a smile. âItâs fine; donât worry about it, okay? Itâs not like itâs irreplaceable. Itâs cool.âÂ

sincerely-hana said: She snaps out of her thoughts, staring at the male for a bit with her lips parted. âYou mean to tell me this actually worked?â Covering her mouth she let out a soft chuckle turning to her left side. âWe need to go this way then. Mhm.â
He gives a slight shrug of his shoulders, followed by a nod of his head before speaking, his tone cordial. "Mhm. It worked." After the female gestures to her left, the mogul takes her hand in his and gently lifts it to his lips in order to press a gentle kiss to its back before linking arms with her. "Well in that case, lead the way, miss."
"Kiss me."
"I beg your pardon?" The otherâs request, or for that matter, demand caught Lu Han rather off guard. His eyebrows raised and one of his hands made its way up into his locks, fingers combing through them as he searched for an answer, or at least something to say, in response. Wide, doelike eyes surveyed the man standing before him and fell upon his lips, and for a fraction of a moment, the businessman wondered exactly how theyâd taste, or how theyâd feel against his own. Blinking once, the idea left his brain, much to his happiness, and he spoke only after this, arms folding across his chest. âYou know, itâd be far more polite to say please. But.. Iâm willing to overlook that error of yours just this once. Next time, though, be sure to ask properly, all right?â The corners of his mouth curled up into a smile and a moment later, he reached forward to take the other maleâs hand in his and bring it to his lips, pressing a gentle kiss against its back. Afterwards, a light chuckle escaped his lips as his coy smile spread into a grin. âHowâs that? Iâm afraid thatâs all youâll receive without asking nicely.â
"Don't look at me like that."
The male that stood before him was honestly anything but unattractive. From his pronounced cupidâs bow to his slender figure to his eyes - those eyes that seemed to house the whole world, all of its promises and dreams - there was no doubt that this man was, well, to say the least, lucky when it comes to genes and DNA. Obviously, thatâs not something he could say to this man, at least in those exact words. Throughout the course of his analyzing the other, Lu Han found himself staring and running his tongue along his lower lip, making the idea that he was absolutely checking the other out rather conspicuous. The only thing that shook him from his practically dazed state was the husky, yet gentle voice of the male standing before him. "Donât look at me like that." As a result, Lu Han shook his head as if physically bringing himself back to reality. With a chuckle and a subtle shrug of his shoulders, he apologized. "Sorry about that, sir. Itâs not exactly polite to stare, is it?" He leaned forward slightly, tapping the otherâs shoulder almost playfully. "However, you should be proud. Or your parents should be, maybe. Youâre pretty damn good-looking, if thatâs not too bold of me to say."
"I need a drink."
He thought itâd just be another uneventful night at the bar with not much to see, no interesting faces, no interesting discussions, save the occasional and always awaited barfight thatâs interesting for the first minute or two, but then minutes pass, and everyoneâs shuffling out the door. He raised his beverage to his lips, fingers of his free hand idly drumming against the counter before him. Because of the monotonous proceeding of the evening, the businessman was quite surprised  when he heard the voice of a female beside him, and when he glanced over his shoulder, he noticed her taking a seat on the stool directly beside him. For fear that if he were to stay silent, the evening would be far too awkward for the two of them - imagine it, two people sitting exactly side by side, not saying a word. itâs strange to anyone looking into the situation, or anyone in their right mind, for that matter - he breaks the ice with a few short sentences, propping the elbow of his free hand up on the mahogany counter and resting his head on his fist. âOf all seats in this place,â he started, âYou chose to sit directly next to me. Thereâs got to be some reason for that. Not that Iâm complaining, though.â A coquettish smile graced his lips before he continued. âItâs against the rules of the universe to not be thrilled when someone gorgeous sits next to you.â
"Make me."
An eyebrow couldnât help but quirk at the otherâs words; the simple, disyllabic phrase echoed in his mind. "Make me." In all honesty, Lu Han didnât exactly believe that that was a, well, typical response to the invitation heâd imposed on the other. All he had done was simply slip a familiar, gold tinted half-sheet of paper with three pieces on it: the address of his residence, a timeframe, and a set of information regarding the party heâd be hosting there in the near future. The otherâs response, though, was simply to place it back in Lu Hanâs hand, uttering those two words. It was for this reason that it took a moment for the young tycoon to form a response, and he paused a moment in thought while running his tongue along his lips before finally responding coolly. "Well," he began. "I canât exactly force you to attend, but Iâd appreciate your presence, though. Itâll be fun, trust me. Iâm a seasoned professional when it comes to parties. I know we arenât exactly as well acquainted as we could be, but see me there, and Iâll promise we could become the best of friends. So, what do you say?â With an expression that could be considered a hybrid of a smirk and a genuine smile of cordiality, he offered the invitation to the other a second time. âWill I be seeing you there?â

Weâre going through the black air with our arms wide,â she called, âand our feet straight out behind like a dolphinâs tail, and weâre going to think weâll never hit the silver down there till suddenly itâll be all warm round us and full of little kissing, caressing waves.
