For someone who was technically considered a villain, who has done more than his fair share of miscreant deeds, he was awfully quick to help out a random person in need. Though he's chalking it up to the sudden desperation of the moment, to the fact that he himself was not really a bad person, per se. Nonetheless it was an interesting tidbit to reflect on more at a later time—maybe.
"Invisibility, huh? Hm." The slightest amused tug of the corner of his mouth occurred for just a second. "I've thought 'bout it, though it's a lil' more outside the box. I would totally wanna make a buncha me. I feel like that'd be real useful n' fun ta have, y'know?"
That he couldn't help but say, 'cause why not? Billy would probably never see the girl again after this; she most likely would never know about his powers. And if somehow he was wrong, then it'd still be funny. But with her own choice of powers, he couldn't really blame her, if the previous nonsense was any indicator of what school life was like on the daily.
Everything she was saying, all the name drops and small explanations of it all so far, was new to the duplicator. Cassie could be mentioning people who had huge meaning to this city, and to him it was going in one ear and out the other, while staying in his mind long enough as a pitstop more than anything. At least with conversations like this, he was gathering more lore about Gotham and the intricacies of it; who'd have known some of that information would be coming from a school girl he randomly helped out, from all people.
"Pfft. Sounds like she got ripped right from a rich school bully role in a movie, name n' all." He let out a short chuckle. "Well, I know it don't mean much from some rando but—sorry ya gotta deal with that. Sounds like a pain in the ass n' she needs ta be knocked down a peg... 'r five."
And he was sorry, actually. He did his own brand of bullying himself but it was with heroes who were totally asking for it in whatever situation was happening between them. This was different, more hostile and nasty and had its own underlying complexities and levels to it. Not fun.
"Billy, nice ta meetcha, even though it was under kinda stressful circumstances." He playfully and lightly bumped her shoulder with his fist. "Don't worry, this was the tamest thing I've 'xperienced here so far in this dang city. Haven't had the pleasure a' fear gas yet but I really don't ever wanna deal with that so I'll take a forever pass." Maybe a slip, maybe not, since random citizens of Gotham were victim to the brute force of the chaotic antics of these insane people as well as anyone willingly participating.
"I mean, I heard one a' 'em cronies say Blackfire, n' if it means anythin', just like the rest a' everythin' ya said, I got no idea what the name means 'r any history b'hind it so... got no prior knowledge a' ya 'r anythin' like that." There was a reassurance in his voice, just in case. "Hey, we all got our shit n' we just gotta deal with it in whatever ways we can."
