This video sent chills down my spine/so angry at the ignorant comments made by the opposition and ignited the fire in my heart, to push me to keep working, keep trying, to prove that everybody deserves the same rights when it comes to love. Someone should not be treated as a second class citizen because they want to marry who they want and it does not meet heteronormative terms. I may be cisgender&heterosexual, but I support marriage for everyone… gay, straight, queer, genderqueer, without a second thought.

I work to make it so when there are 19 year olds in the future, the thought that marriage for all was not allowed at one point was absurd. It never occurred to me when I was young that any 2 people who loved each other couldn’t get married, until I grew up a little and saw that world was unjust in that way. Here’s to making it so the future’s child think the same: love is love.
