a road trip au where muse a and muse b are dragged along by a group of mutual friends regardless of the fact that they’re exes on bad terms. muse b brings their current girlfriend/boyfriend to lessen the blow, and of course that upsets muse a to the point of constant arguments both in the car & at hotels the group stops in for the night. one night after everyone is asleep, muse a and muse b run into each other somewhere in the hotel and get into another heated argument, except this time it ends in super rough/angsty hate sex. they go on the next morning pretending that nothing happened and still bicker just as much, but now they’re sneaking around and fucking all over the place because it’s passionate and really good. muse a will purposely press themselves against muse b in the backseat and as feelings come back to life, they’ll hold hands while muse b’s significant other is asleep on the other side of them and deny any emotional connection. lots of angst and sexual tension and maybe even a fluffy moment here & there !!
