Whenever I see byler posts from november–december last year I get hit with this huge wave of sadness

Imagine married byler in 2026 being asked how they met for some street interview, and they start by saying "well, we met 50 years ago..."

there are THREE instances in the show where mike queeler pauses what he was going to say to stare at his "BEST FRIENDS" lips. THREE TIMES.

so let me get this straight, will was originally going to take off his belt to stop the water in the bathroom (which would have done nothing but yk) with his crush after flirting with him. this same bathroom was nicknamed dick. the script describes the pipe as a “busted joint”. not to mention they get interrupted by a kid wearing the gay flag colors. this scene also would complete what robin said about the avalanche. and this to the duffers isn’t on the nose or at least they want us to think that?

One of the craziest things to me is the GA trying to convince us that this look is “proud of my bestie.” I mean, there’s some pride in there, but it’s 89.2% something else.

Can we all agree this is one of the CUTEST byler scenes of all time, i mean, Mikes excitement is everything to me. Because in that moment, he sees Will and everything he’s been through. His Will who has been through hell and back has POWERS. The sheer excitement on his face giving us a small glimpse into his personality from seasons 1-2. Not to mention the line he says is so cute because Will is, “A sorcerer. A real-life, honest-to-God sorcerer”

This scene is so important to me as a Mike fan because for a second we get his sweetness back and even though i’ve loved him throughout the show it’s nice to have him back.
