Death of a Rose- (image under the cut) (GORE WARNING- blood, organs, cannibalism)

Lead roses are melting and dripping into bandit Otis' head, all while he's devouring his old self. Rosetown is the name of the town, that's why roses are also associated with Otis, hence the title.

Otis has been really a fun character to develop and even tho he's supposed to be just the bandit villain of a wild west story, I loved giving him a layered story and background. (To be honest, I've been feeling very self conscious and cring-ey about this drawing, but i'm pretty happy how it came out so i'm sharing it)

I realized i never posted this here, so here we go The flowers here are datura flowers: they're meant to represent his hallucinations and the delirious state of his mind. Broken mirror showing a slightly crooked view of his face is also related to that.
