my friend just told me that there's a secret second dashboard that solely contains posts from people you've turned on post notifications for, and when i click the link in the messages it opens it within the tumblr app, so the tumblr app also has a secret second dashboard for post notification blogs, and the only way to access it is to open the link for it within the app.

i literally love tumblr

This is genuinely so confusing, because what he is describing is a only possible for a very small streamer. There’s no way he’ll be able to bounce off chat without the a “hivemind”. The point of a “hivemind” chat is chat comes together and “spams” so it’s easy for the streamer to see how chat reacts to things.

Nothing is going to change with these new rules he’s put down imo. I really see where he was coming from but it’s impossible with his large audience
