bill cipher is allergic to sincerity and vulnerability so rather than him outright asking caine to shapeshift i'm picturing bill convincing caine to create a "humansona" and then proceeding to micromanage that human form until it looks exactly like ford without telling caine who ford is, or at least not telling him what ford looks like.

Yes, yes, all of this exactly! They feed into each other endlessly- never actually satisfying each other. Empty calories. Validation without the validation. Knowing that there's no validation to be actually given by the other. They're so knowingly bad for each other. Although... I will disagree with one thing. Bill wouldn't need to manipulate Caine into slowly taking Ford's shape. He would've caught onto Caines (now limited) abilities and just straight up asked for it. (Never giving all the details- lack of vulnerability aiding to the imperfect imitation)

And Caine- learning the value of 'taking suggestions' for 'adventures' would've happily gone along with it. At least as long as his own ego allowed- as that adventure would never be his own. Anyhow. I'm making one last lil continuation to this crack ship - really dig into how bad these two can be for each other. The brain worms these two give me are delicious.

Briana Boston is a 42 year old mother of three from Florida who is under house arrest for expressing her frustration at her insurance (which she PAYS for) who denied her claim. She owns ZERO guns and doesn't have a criminal record.

She was originally held in prison for $100,000 bail. They have not dropped the charges and she is under house arrest even after widespread backlash.

They are trying to charge her with terrorism. They want her to spend 15 years in prison.

They are calling her a Luigi Mangione copycat. As if she killed someone. She made a indirect, not at all credible threat.

when i see posts that say terms like “sis” “fam”  “bro” are exclusively black (or aave) i ABSOLUTELY agree that there are slang words exclusive to black culture and should be used exclusively by black people cos they were created for and by them (i.e. the n word, squad, fleek, bae, etc.) BUT 

poc cultures (especially from melting pots such as the middle east which is a crossroads of continents/people including black, brown, asian, african etc.) share common phrases, culture and language e.g. despite being classified as an asian country, Filipino has 22,000 words in common with spanish/latinx because of the shared (colonial) history between the two cultures

i grew up in an a middle eastern/ Australian Aboriginal family, my 60 y/o brown father calls his siblings sis and bro for as long as I’ve had ears to hear it, i call all my aboriginal and Lebanese cousins sis (cos i was taught by my grandmother and father to) and call all of my elders “auntie” “uncle” because i was taught by grandmother and father to, like i can remember being 4 and hearing my 83 y/o Aboriginal great grandmother telling my mum about the “fam” up north….

i am not black american so i can’t pretend for one second i understand what it is like to live in america as a black american - from what i see in media, my understanding is that anti-blackness is a massive issue and the butchering, appropriation and condemnation of black culture is deeply embedded in the american psyche and i fully understand the desire to protect your language from your oppressors and you have every single right to

but i also think, when it comes to certain areas of language (particularly when it comes to poc languages), there are common sentiments that exist across cultures because of historical proximity, shared history, etc. and while you may have only heard people from a certain culture use a word or phrase, that doesn’t mean it is exclusively created by that culture 

(i am doing my best to explain this without accidentally coming off as anti-black because people have misinterpreted my posts before cos the words were unclear. if i need to adjust my phrasing lmk - to be clear: aave should only be used by black people but not every word in aave is exclusive to aave)
