Seeking a Studyblr for the End of the World
I’m Cedar. A warm hello to everyone!
a b o u t
- I’m currently on break from University, going into my 4th year this Fall
- I use a digital planner/bullet journal hybrid
- I study math
- I'm interested in linguistics, history, and economics
- I like my math minimal and my emotions well-regulated... so I like to meditate
- I enjoy reading technical journals about cognitive science
- For fun, I like to watch soccer games and legal dramas/comedies occassionally
- My work style is all about supporting good habits and a methodical workflow. I enjoy setting a few small goals each day and completing them.
- I struggled intensely with over-scheduling, procrastination, and imposter syndrome the past 3 years of school, in habitual overachieving and perfectionistic fashion
- I’m managing anxiety
- One of the things that drew me to the studyblr community was the supportive and encouraging niche I saw. People pursuing not only a degree, but an education. People brave and strong and noncompetitive, moved to give intelligent and passionate explanations, so anyone and everyone may try to succeed in understanding.
Here are some studyblrs that let me see that:

Finally,
I’m so grateful to be attending university and to be given an opportunity to learn. It is one of the greatest privileges of my life. I don’t take that for granted. However, something I would like to actively and openly explore on this platform (through the lens of my American experience) is the extent to and ways in which that same system accomplishes its task of educating people. As well as the mechanisms by which the system engages privilege.
For now, though, in preparation for the tasks to come, I quote solemnly
“What, like it’s hard?”
