i counted approximately how many times they were each drawn smiling in the manga (including smirks/laughter) because?? and then i wanted to know what percentage that was of how many times their faces were drawn overall because???? #insaneposting

i was surprised that blue's face was drawn more times than red's tbh. then there's green having by far the most pagetime but also the lowest percentage.... poor guy was STRESSED

I’m fashionably late and extending this akeshu holiday! I drew a February 3rd story instead of the usual 2/2 flavor since I wanted to explore more of how it’s still both hard for them even after coming to a decision… the regular happy akeshu will be back soon!

i have Ideas regarding dess and her lost status and i wanna write them down and maybe bounce them around a bit before chapter 5 comes out

- dess is not the knight, but is the voice in the code (this one is fairly self explanatory, i think. doesn't require much elaboration and works with pretty much any identity for the knight.)

- dess is the voice in the code, and is the knight, separately (meaning, the incident that caused her to become "lost" is *not* the incident that caused her to become the knight, and the voice in the code are recollections or memories or projections of a past version of dess, and she experienced some other incident later on while lost that caused her to become the knight somehow. considering the nature of FRIEND/the tail of hell it's not completely unreasonable that some kind of echo of dess would be left behind? though honestly i don't know how likely this would be, especially considering spamton's "fear" dialogue in his shop.)

- dess is the voice in the code, and is the knight, simultaneously (meaning, the incident that caused her to become lost is also the incident that turned her into the knight, for example by separating her consciousness from her body in some way, trapping dess in the code but leaving her body (the knight) within the bounds of the game. regardless of how it would work, the end result is that dess is existing in two states at once. schrodinger's lost girl. no idea how this would work with the story and world elements presented so far in deltarune but it's not completely impossible, considering what happened to gaster ("was shattered across time and space"). gets -1 points for having to use gaster as a point of reference though)

- dess is the knight, but is *not* the voice in the code (though this is unlikely considering the only other possible candidate is gaster (to my knowledge) and we already know what he speaks like, not to mention gaster is capable of communicating with us directly through the twitter account and within the game itself already anyway.)

thinking about 'Goro Akechi' not actually being his real name and i have some silly thoughts

Goro Akechi being a fake name he picked because of the character Kogoro Akechi is very funny i think; however, i am very attached to Akechi as his surname so for your consideration:

Goro Akechi is his actual given name, while still being a reference to Kogoro Akechi because it was his mother who chose that name for him!! she poured all her childhood dreams of being something great and her dying hope that her son, the only person she has left, will be able to overcome their circumstances and make something of himself.

or, alternatively: Akechi is his real surname, but Goro isn't his real given name, and he chose to change his name (either socially or legally) to reference Kogoro Akechi because he's a nerd but also because of his desire to seek justice, so he named himself after a famous fictional detective that he looked up to in his chilldhood

was up late thinking about akechi's character and old five nights at freddy's and realized akechi kind of reminds me of old fan interpretations of the MCI victims, from around 2014-2015

both akechi and the MCI victims were children who were so thoroughly failed by the very system meant to protect them that the only people left to avenge them were the children themselves. doing everything in their power to achieve their own justice, no matter how childish or violent it may have been, lashing out against anyone, including people just trying to help because they had been living with that rage and hurt for so long they couldn't remember anything else. and all of that pain and violence amounting to absolutely nothing because the man who inflicted that initial horrific trauma upon them got away with little to no consequences.

this wasn't a super popular interpretation of the MCI kids back in the day (especially after fnaf 2/3)

this also doesn't fully capture akechi's character or the actual fnaf storyline (since it was based mostly on fnaf 1), but it was one of my favorite theories as a kid and im having fun noticing the similarities even if there arent many
