âWell well, youâve all done it, havenât you? Congratulations are in order for working together like a well-oiled machine. Maybe even a thank you from yours truly; youâve no idea how stressful it was to keep this all under wraps. And a thank you, as well, for humoring my games up until the very end. Not that you had much choice.â
âHey, this is a fun fact: did you know that faeries canât die of old age unless they choose to? In fact, they d-donât age at all. And, on top of that, any ch-child that has a fae as a parent will be fae no matter what. No. Matter. What. Isnât that interesting? The fantasy I had planned in my head, the only thing keeping me from the edge was shattered with a single line of text. Just. A. Single. Line.â
âThat is where you all come in.âÂ
âThis may seem like eons ago, but does everyone remember those strange dreams that our earth was receiving? The ones that this trip was intended to study? Well, those were not merely dreams. Those were messages sent out by our dear Captain. Messages for help with this âriftâ problem he had. Most did not understand them - how could they? I only saw through the veil because I could see even further. I saw the absolute wave of death this rift would cause. It was sickening, larger and more powerful than anything I had ever seen. It was horrible, it was dangerous, it was... a golden opportunity.â
âI sent a signal back out into the multiverse and he picked me up. He wanted to fix the rift, keep his little pond of the multiverse in perfect order. I had other plans. And so did the ever-intelligent, absolutely brilliant, Toni Miyagi.âÂ
âYou see, she needed her brother back. I promised her that I would find him. Whatever the cost, no matter how many universes we would have to check, I would find him. The searching and universe hopping was all for her. The killing game was for me.â
Lyle Alderidge II, the Fleet Admiral. The true mastermind of the Killing Game.
The world would never be the same.
But change is as much of a part of life as it is death. Death, at times, seems to change the world more than anything - but life can do just as much. As those who survived death after death would slowly return down to the Earth, drifting through its speckled skies, it feels as if life would go on to change the world much more than death ever had.
Lyle Alderidge II and Toni Miyagi. A little alien named Veemo. These three forces would challenge the fate of the multiverse, whether or not they knew they would from the start. As much as things change among the living and the dead, there was always a single goal in the mind of the captain, the admiral, and the fleet admiral. Ever since the very beginning.
Despite the road they took to see their goals realized⊠people lived. With a final vote, with Lyleâs ambitions fully now stated to the cast, they would return to a utopia. The old multiverse lived no longer. Now...a single universe, filled with every possibility from the multiverse, beyond infinity. Alongside their once dead compatriots, now returned to the life they once had.
As all the survivors together returned to the world below, things would change. They would always change, whether the killing game had happened or not. The memories made during the game would be with them forever, for better or worse. A story of how much things could change⊠or how, in spite of everything, they would stay the same.
How *people* could change. How relationships could grow, and how friends could be lost. How friends could be found. How secrets could be revealed, and how lies could be told. How truths could be treasured. How happiness⊠could be an asset.
The world was big. The world was small. The world was bigger and smaller in ways that were perhaps impossible to grasp, now. But it didnât matter, in the end. Things would go on, and time would stretch far beyond what those on the crew would live to see. Just as it had gone on long before they were born -- even the most ancient among them. One of the things that defines the world the most is change. That ability to live. To die. To come back. And to survive. To keep going.
To remember to try to fix things. To remember to always get back up. To remember to uncover the truth. To remember to keep to your roots. To remember to find yourself. To remember to smile. To remember to always cheer. To remember to keep track of it all. To remember your home. To remember to keep an ear open. To remember to make connections. To remember to find justice. To remember to keep your secrets. To remember to offer a helping hand. To remember to entertain. To remember what you can do for others. To remember what you can do for yourself. To remember you can be anyone you want to be.
To do something for someone else.
For someone, somewhere, to always listen.
For someone to never stop looking. And never stop believing.
For that flame to keep flickering.
The galaxy would be a vast place, regardless if it was one or many. Life is an unquenchable torch that will continue to brightly flicker no matter in what hall it dwells. There will always be secrets. There will always be unknowns, just the same as there will always be truth. The world is big. But the Earth is small.
But the Earth has always been enough. Enough for people to grow, enough for them to know where they came from. For them to wonder where theyâll go next. But for them to have enough time to make that decision. For them to have the freedom, to make that choice. For them to have all the time in the world.
The world was what you made of it. The world survived.
The world would be different.
But after what itâs been through, it could conquer any challenge that comes its way.
Life goes on.
A new day awaits.
Crisis averted.

No motive. An end to the killing game. The truth revealed, at last.Â
Too good to be true.
With tales of his true motivations, the purpose of the multiverse as a whole, the purpose of the killing game that tortured them all to this point...Veemo, several times, had apologized. Apologized for his actions. For what he couldnât do. For what he had to. And announcing that there would be no more motives, no more killing game-- it seemed as if things could perhaps, return to normal.
Too good to be true.
Waking up, on just another day...there was something missing. Someone missing. Every Veemo in the ship, all of the worlds, gone. Except for one. With...no more life, within him. Trapped in a marmalade jar, and no longer with them...
It still wasnât over. And even automated by the ship itself, the show...would still go on.
They only all hoped the truth, this time, wouldnât be a wicked one.
Veemo Body Drop By Ysther
"Why should you take me at my word, Himemiya? Why should you trust me? I never trusted you. Not since day one. And why would I swear on Ezra? I never trusted him either. I never trusted any of you."
"I murdered Daisuke. Is that what you wanted to hear? And now you murdered me. Are you happy? Are you satisfied, friend?"
"... This was what I was trying to prevent from the very beginning."
"But even if it was amidst this chaos, I'm glad I was able to make real connections. I'm glad I was able to meet you Sachie, and everyone else too."
"Oh god. I'm going to die. I'm going to die. I don't want to die Idontwannadieidontwannadieidontwannadiehelphelpidontwannadie-...."
"We've prolonged our stay. It's time for us to die, Masha."
A pair for a pair, an omen indeed. With two killers among their ranks this time, Maria Tarasova and Vulpes Septem Ilie PlÄmÄdealÄ, it meant a pair of plans that were equally fatal in their results, as well. With a motive ultimately pushing both into action, the technician had been working on a plan before the proper shove, while the critic's own feelings and paranoia within the ship's walls had been preparing them for their own role as a killer for quite a while. With the pair of victims ultimately ending up as they were for poor circumstances, it didn't prevent the steps that took each killer there from being equally calculated, in their own ways.
A technician bringing down an entire mausoleum to kill another, and a critic supplying and attempting to certify her own alibi while electrocuting someone off to their final days. Two killers who hardly knew the plight of the other, but acted on the same day, and would then share the same fate. Two people, this time, who were fully prepared to take a life. No excuses, no mistakes, but the full intent to kill someone, and attempt to escape. Of course, as before, these were escapes that were entirely unsuccessful. And now, wickedly once more, they were gone.
Flames could erase the past. They could erase, and destroy, and obliterate, just as people could. People could tell their own stories, and they could tell lies, in kind. They could try to help others, but they could turn on them just as well. Now, with a total of four individuals gone in their last chapters, numbers were looking smaller than ever. And even their froggy host was seeming worse for wear. Perhaps, this would be the time, where things would finally change.
But, in all likelihood, no one truly believed that.

Perhaps, an omen. Two bodies were found the previous time, but both of them ended up more alive than dead. But this time, upon finding two dead bodies in two separate locations, told the shipâs captives that perhaps this would be their cruelest journey yet. Beatrix Monterrossa and Daisuke Yonamine were both downed, one in a wicked scene of a crumbled mausoleum, and the other barely dragged out of a fountain in the castleâs primary courtyard. As the times had provided before, now there was yet another struggle to get past, and to conquer. With perhaps more moving pieces than ever, this was still no time to rest, especially with more of their numbers downed now than ever. Now, more than ever, they had to work. And they had a truth to discover.Â

"Don't give me any of that shitty pity! I don't wanna fucking hear it! Not from a single one of you! And there's no point in me leaving any final fucking words because I'm sure as hell you're all going to rot away in this fucking cruise ship!"
"I don't fucking care if you feel so damn disrespected! Or if you want to fucking understand me! No one's done that in their whole goddamn life for me so I don't see how you're gonna make any difference! Especially now! And you-"
"I just wanted off of this damn ship! I just wanted to go home! Away from all of you fucking pieces of shit!"
"MOTHER! FATHER! WAIT!"
Justice was always a word that varied. Justice meant many things to many people, but at the end of the day, and at the end of a murder case, it was clear that little was anything close to just. As the secrets of the group had come out one by one, the shadowy's imposter's mere presence and nature was more than enough to motive the true killer, Junbi Nakahara, into action. Wanting to watch someone of whom seemed to be such a threat, their looming presence and paranoia was enough to push the former Yori into action, themselves. Through a masquerade dance of masks, lies, and misunderstandings, multiple traps ended up being laid, including the one that Sachie Himemiya was found in at the scene of the crime. Junbi decided they wanted to stop the shadowy imposter before they could do any harm, but the imposter decided to do just what they feared.
Moving into action and harming Yuriko Futamata in the process, their shadowy form eventually ended up in the laser tag arena, where they'd meet their final fate. Next to an unconscious Sachie, of whom Junbi acted on upon believing her to be the imposter in disguise, the shadowy creature took its true form, and with an attack on the prop maker....was simply popped, and slain, like an angry balloon. A shapeshifter didn't have very much experience with being harmed, apparently. And with an angry sprout now the killer of which many they'd despised, they only had one thing on their mind....escape. Home.
A horrible cruel execution, once more. A killing game had no justice, nor for the heroes, or the villains. Things were never black and white. And as the group left with an especially chilling sight fresh in their memories, with even less numbers among them than before...the question remained. Of when there'd be home, once more. Of how long this would go on. And...of who, or what, would happen next.

A shadowy problem. In a wicked event revealing too many secrets about a week before, several new supernatural presences were revealed to the cast upon the S.S. Accident Avoided. One of which, was shockingly already brought to their doom, in the form of the individual who previously announced themselves to be Yori Amichi. Turning out to be a shadowy imposter with no intentions so pure, splattered, shadowy mass discovered at the scene of the crime, where Sachie Himemiya and Yuriko Futamata were both discovered unconscious but alive, was a rude awakening. Secrets surely could give many a reason to kill, but for there to be two alleged innocents brought into the problem as well, in addition to a shapeshifting creature being brought down so easily...the cast, as always, would still have to discover the truth.
The Imposter Body Drop, and Sachie Himemiya/Yuriko Futamata Fake-Out- By Ysther
âIâmâ I ainât just a plant man, or a tree. Iâm whatâs called a hamadryad. More than 300 years ago, some natural, ancient magic of the Earth empowered a single seedâ and from it grew a tree⊠and me. Weâre separate entities, but also the same. Iâm the vessel, and my purpose is tâprotect the tree and the forest around it. The tree⊠itâs my heart, and itâs magic keeps me goinâ. Weâre linked: one canât exist without the other.â
ââŠand somehow, mâheartâ which should be rooted back home in British Columbiaâ ended up here, in the middle of that damn school courtyard. I canât explain itâ not as anythinâ other than some damn alternate realities bullshitâ but anyoneâs whoâs placed their hand on that Douglas Fir can feel the warmth and rhythm. The tree⊠is me.â
âBut the world isnât so black-and-white, sprout. Wish it was.â
ââŠI really am tired.â
Someone older than the rest of them. Someone who walked the earth long before cruise ships roamed the seas, the killer was revealed as a second supernatural being among their ranks. The environmental writer, Haku, his true name from far long ago, Menziesii, had hatched a plan. When the victim had discovered his secret, the two of them, both environmentally minded, had something to unite them. And when flooded worlds threatened Hakuâs life directly, their determination for the writer to make it out brought the two of them together, the university student not minding giving their life one bit, if it got someone like him out alive.
But while Yam didnât mind, Haku began to feel conflicted. When the pair of them met within the depths of an abyssal cave, and he shared his doubts, they didnât care for that. Determined to make him follow through on what they planned together, there was violence. Attempting to goad him into following through, a fight sprawled its way all up until the place of their death, where a final struggle, and final hesitation from the victim, ended up in the unintentional killing blow from the hamadyrad.
300 years was a lot of time. Depending on the person. But it was still a time that could be filled with plenty of regrets, and plenty of things undone...and being undone, was the end of anyone. As Hakuâs form left the world of the living, the group was once again left to their ship. Two more were gone. Another reminder that the world could be mysterious, and wonderous. Another reminder that it could be deadly.
For now, once more, they had to simply look forward. And try for the best.

Flooded worlds. That was new.
A motive, or perhaps one and then something else even more convenient. With Veemoâs latest presentation, the cast were trapped inside of scuba suits until further notice...and with the waters of their latest world flooding both it and the first they visited, as well as threatening to encroach upon the ship itself, stakes were high. While everyone managed to mingle underwater for a while, as before, it wasnât long before tragedy struck. Upon discovering the fallen body of Yam Faille in the scuba diving pool, after the rude awakening of realizing the motiveâs end upon everyoneâs scuba suits unlocking...there wasnât much time. Before a trial, before the truth, before likely another punishment? They had, for the third time, a story to learn.

â...I grew up poor. Desperately poor. All the land in my area belonged to one family, the Wuthersbury clan, anâ they bled us fer everything we had. When this eye got infected, I couldnât afford medication, so I went blind. When we broke our bones, we had tâset âem ourselves. Yâget the point. When I tried to go get a job, the only place thatâd hire me was run by the mob.âÂ
â...I got known. Fer cookinâ good anâ keepinâ my mouth shut. Got hired to grill fer real shady situations. Heard things normal folksâd go the cops for. Kept it tâmyself, fer the most part. âTil I heard somethinâ about that Wuthersbury clan. I passed it on to some folks with a phone call anâ didnât think much of it. Ten days later, they all got gunned down in a hit anâ run. I ainât sayinâ it was my fault, but it... probably was.â
â...Iâm sorry. I donât know what tâsay. I guess I let everyone down, uh, if Junebeeâs reactionâs anythinâ to go by. Itâs been real nice to get tâknow yâall. And, uh, can someone please move in with Erakles once Iâm gone?â
Familiar, but different. When the truth all came to light, it turned out that once more, things were complicated. When Alex Pryse had decided to attempt to take out Ezra Welch, his own surprise was turned back at him. The BBQ Chef fell to his co-host's self-defense, losing his own life in the process. But fate was a wicked thing. While Ezra may had believed they were safe, their act of killing Alex had managed to pass on the very zombification curse that had kept them here in the first place, as a newly dead chef rose back to the world of the living, ready to strike back with what they had attempted to do in the first place. When Ezra was finally cornered once more atop the clock tower...a missed swing of a chainsaw from Alex was enough to cause their co-host to dodge, and fall down, down, down, to their final fate.
With a checked past connecting the pair already, unbeknownst to Alex, learning about the secrets involved from an alternate version of himself, was enough to push him into action. Ezra's killer perhaps would have been successfully remained anonymous, if the chef's pulse wasn't successfully checked by his shipmates. From an especially bloody crime scene, and peculiar combination of barbeque sauce and alcohol, it was clear that the culprit couldn't have survived the initial encounter...which Alex didn't. The spotlight on a zombie once more, he gave his goodbyes to the rest of the group, facing an unknown punishment before him with optimism.
An execution. Something seen coming by no one, and enjoyed by just as few. Despite the familiar faces, alternate versions of the dead which would now wander the ship, the two lost in this murder would truly be lost forever. The ship knew, now, the true stakes of their situation. And all they could do, for now...was wait until next time.

A motive. Simple, but apparently effective-- kill someone and get away with it, and get a personal upgrade by giving yourself any trait youâd wish from any version of yourself throughout the multiverse. Be it knowledge, extra limbs, extra experiences, or any abilities you desired, you could gain that from another version of yourself, if you were successful. Now, with an unfortunately familiar sight, Ezra Welch- or, as they were once called, Jay Caroll, has fallen for real, to put their killerâs wit to the test. A dead zombie wasnât something that anyone in the group likely would have expected, but unlike the broken clock that the victim fell from above....time was ticking.

"You really want to know, huh? I'm glad you guys f-figured it out! I didn't think it would be that hard, but...I'm still happy you did it! I was just lucky Mx. Welch was such a willing victim."
"WILLIN' VICTIM MY ASS, YOU SHITTY FUCKIN' FROG! Real funny, *REEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAL funny, man! Sure, yeah, kill the undead guy! He won't mind, right? Fuck you!"
"H-hey! I didn't actually kill you for real, did I..? S-so it's fine! I would never kill any of you..."
You are not falling into the center of the world - you are falling into a vast void of impossible nebula and unreal starscapes. A mass of bleeding, beautiful colors and galaxies that seem to spill into this scar that has formed before you. You feel yourself - and you feel yourself, and you feel yourself, and you feel infinite, unending selves, all suddenly collapsing into one being. You are you, and you are a doctor. You are a writer. You are a vagabond. You are an artist. You are a billion things all at once.
You are a hero. You are a survivor. You are a murderer, and you are a monster.
âWell⊠okay, lemme put it to you this way. We need you all to go along with us for this ride for a lot of reasons - but, we get it. You probably donât want to be here, right..? You didnât sign up for this! I get that⊠but, um, okay, there is a way you can get out of it. Yeah. A way we can get you on the first lifeboat back home! All you have to do isâŠâ
âMurder someone."
Live, die, repeat. A cheerful meal to properly greet the volunteers of the dream study with reward and harmony for their hard work quickly turned sour, as a hilarious prank gone wrong, went even worse. Ezra Welch's faked head on a platter quickly turned into a real murder to solve, as the cast was quickly informed by Veemo that they'd have to do more work on this trip than they expected.
But after a quick investigation, the cruise's participants realized an unfortunate truth, finally proven by a quick shake of multiple wet, sticky hands, from the group's deductions. Ezra Welch's murderer was none other than their frog-like host himself, a criminal mastermind, testing out the very first death of his own killing game...or, something adjacent to that. The quick reveal of the death being a deal, a game, a trick-- what the cooking show cohost thought was just a murder mystery game, and the inclusion of a mechanical bull and fully-stocked mini-fridge being enough to convince them to fully go along for the ride...still resulted in their own unexpected death. But for a zombie, death wasn't something that ever truly stuck.
With a zombie now amidst their ranks, learning the true meaning of their stay on the S.S. Accident Avoided, a plunge over the world's edge delivered them into a brand new world. A place fallen to some sort of unknown apocalypse. A killing game, no dreams, no lies, only the truth. To live, and to die. A new crisis, and a new set of problems. Veemo gave them a new world, as well as a window to infinite alternate ones back on their ship....he'd take more things, too. But for now, there was a new world, new problems, and...the same, same old worry.

And as an extra fun note...we now have our roster page live, go check it out!
"O-oh, geez, where are my manners? You guys don't even know my name! Ahem."
"My name's Veemo! And I'm your captain - and, uh, also your nurse, and your crew, and your chef, sometimes, and your waiter! And, um... your best friend? Eheh, if you want..."
20 individuals board the S.S. Accident Avoided in the docks of Miami Florida, and have already found themselves in a strange situation. Asked to work the moment they begun their cruise, after a series of especially odd problem to solve including an ornery octopus and a nasty Nicolas Cage incident, the lucky would-be vacationers were met with their especially friendly host! Supplying each of them with a lovely, non-copyright-infringing tablet, he assured them that as long as he was in control, everything would be just fine.

Congratulations to all our cast members! We're excited to have you on board!
Let's cut to the chase! Our roster will be dropping at 8 PM EST tomorrow (4/13)! We've been hard at work at this drop, and we can't wait to share it with you all!
As previously mentioned, we will be removing people from our hopefuls a few hours before and deleting old channels in order to convert it into the proper game server. At that point we'll send out the invitations to our selected cast.
As a final reminder, we will not be doing any sort of individual feedback or app reviews. Spectators will be arranged only if the cast wishes to have them, as previously mentioned, but keep watching the blog for updates in the future! The Crisis is here, and we cant wait for you to see it.
Hey, all!
It's been about a month since we closed app submissions, and in that time, we've been working hard to bring everything together for the start of the game! Thank you for all waiting so patiently while we work towards this goal.
That being said, you can all expect to see the roster drop video coming out April 13th, just a little over two weeks away! We hope you'll look forward to the video.
Regarding spectators: we've decided to wait to poll our players regarding the number of spectators we'll be accepting after the roster drop video is released. We will be re-purposing the hopefuls' server into our actual game server, so as a heads-up, all hopeful channels will be deleted and everyone will be cleared out of this server a few hours prior to the roster reveal. We will ping you again closer to the time so don't worry!
Thank you all so much for your continued support!
And with that, our grace period has ended, and our hopefuls have been updated for the final time! We canât say enough about how grateful we are for all the support and attention weâve gotten, and while now we have the lengthy process of reading apps ahead of us, weâre able to move ahead to that next step. As always, stay tuned, and remember, we really couldnât have done this without all of you!
