I always felt that I had and advantage over the other kids when I grew up with because I could always escape to the pages of my comic books. Today being a comic book geek paid off. I was having a horrible day and a client said to me, "Here Mr. Derrick, looks like you need this. Its a Green Lantern Power Ring". He then said, "repeat after me". "In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, beware my power, Green Lantern's light!!!". He then said, "You have just recited the Green Lantern Oath". He then asked me who was the greatest human to wear the Green Power Ring. I stated Hal Jordan. He chuckled and said that's debatable but we'll talk about that next week. That was the best part of my day. #Comicbooks #Nerdlife
