A painting I did recently. This is actually based on a photo of me and my girlfriend. I started it as a study, but it turned out pretty good I think! There’s always something special about paintings that start as studies: there’s no pressure to make it perfect, and because of that, it just turns out great. ^^

Paintings I did yesterday, going more into my little witchcrafty space program idea. Large open space illustrations aren’t my strong point, but this one came relatively good, maybe somewhat too empty, but it’s more like a story beat than a standalone painting, so it’s all good.

Did you wached The Hazbin Hotel? Well I recently finsihed sezon 2 with my gf, and we loved it. So I did little fanart. Really like how I was able to combine ascethic of this series with my style.

So a little painting I did, it took a short time to finish. In recent days I try my best to explore composition and subtle storytelling ideas, so the painting can convey something but not as a fully told story, instead just a glimpse of someone’s expirience.

Hi there! Little continuation on the witch theme. It’s basically an imaginary scene where magic is an actual thing and would probably somehow interact with physics or be a part of physics. So here we go, witchy physics lecture.

This is a painting I did for a tutorial on drawing night scenes, for the Clip Studio Paint monthly challenge. I think it turned out pretty good. I have time until Sunday to finish the whole project, so wish me luck ;p

An original character I designed like 2 weeks ago and totally forgot to post. I designed at that time 3 characters as a team, but tbh only 2 designs are strong. Anyway, here she is. The idea was pretty simple. It’s about taking a conventional fiction character, like an elf in this example, and giving it a little twist, like using a two-handed hammer and maybe giving a slightly punkish vibe but still keeping that high tone an elf would have.

Today was a designing kind of day. I’m working on a small personal project of mine. It’s basically the story of two girls who are some kind of semi-goddesses of sleep and death. This is the mid-way design work of the second one. Hope you enjoy it! Also, I found out that when it comes to designing per se, there is no better tool than my beloved lasso.

Do you know that feeling when you think you can draw pretty well, only to realize your skills fall apart the moment you switch from humans to anything non-human? Yeah, that’s me. Day 1 of studying animals — starting with cats. I’ll probably study animals once a week to get familiar with different body structures and movement.

Sooooo yeah xd — the challenge didn’t go as planned. I was moving, and for a while I had to focus on life stuff, plus I was working my ass off on portfolio pieces and social media. It all became a bit too much.

BUT! I hope nobody thought this was the end. It was a break — a longer one, sure — but still just a break. I put myself under too much pressure, but now I’m coming back with fresh energy and these practice paintings!

29/1000 Game stuff continues! Today I was working on actual assets that will hopefully make it into the game. This project is super fun — I can’t wait to start working on the characters!

28/1000 Painting/sketch of an in-game location. I’ve been flirting with concept art almost my entire artistic journey, but right now I feel like concept art and design are truly my thing when it comes to art.
