Guilty Gear Graffiti Inspired Logos
A while back I tried out sketching out the names of GG characters, I wanted for it to become a series, but I had a lot of work so I am going to leave the remaining art works on this post. I might continue it later, maybe not, depends on how I am feeling honestly, I also want to say a thing or two about each piece!🐇
I did all of this relatively fast and in one go, so there are no side sketches, this is it. They're in my A4 sketchbook drawn with cheap alcohol markers (they are of very poor quality and don't blend well, they're very aggressive with bleeding and run out fast) and with Posca pens to outline some details (like reflections or to color correct). I scanned them and now I have them on my computer! 😎
So, the Ramlethal one is my favourite! I might outline it in Illustrator, I think it has big potential to be on a shirt or a tote bag!!!! >< 🍀🐶
Next is Dizzy, my baby, my main! >< This was my first piece (of course bc Queen is first). You can see my markers here are running out a bit and this piece is a lot more sketchy, compared to the others, being the first piece, I winged it (unintended pun). 🐿️💙
The Goldlewis one barely fit on paper I had to remove a lot of details, this was a big challenge for me, because I am not familiar with the lettering and- well it felt like a huge mess trying to make this one, but it turned out fine, it works. ⚰️👽
As you can see there are two Jack-o drawings... Well, first time around I forgot the letter K. 😅 There is quality in design in both of these, it just kills me that I forgot the letter K on the one on the right, because I did way better coloring of the mask and the chains on that one. I might take the right one, take some details from the left one that I like and outline it in Illustrator if I feel like it! 🎃⛓️
Lastly, Ky. Just Ky. I don't like how this turned out, I should have written Ky Kiske. I also feel I could have chosen a more elegant font. The lightning slaps though, I gotta give it to me, okay! 🫡 I really took my time with it.⚡⚔️
I am trying to be more active on socials and to show my art a little bit more, it's very hard for me to open up about my art and share it, I also am not a machine to have always something ready, art takes time and patience, so thank you for reading. 💌
