This semester, we are learning how to become a good waiters! We are so ready to serve you 🙋🏻
But don't worry! We also wear free clothes on friday! We only wear the uniform from monday till thursday ✌🏼
Being a hotelier, we are required to wear this complete uniform as our daily outfit during our study in this campus. If we don't wear completely, we will get a warning letter. We are really prepared in this hospitality industry!
One of the best experiences i have in this campus: Pastry final exam with Nonikha and Winna. We got the chance to make cheese cake and chocolate mousse for Happy Mothers day theme. Let's do this again someday or real soon! 💞
First time wearing the chef's uniform and the meals from practical class of kitchen
My first practical class: Kitchen and Pastry
Before joining this major, Hospitality Management, I didn’t know anything about what we will learn through out my study in STPPH. They say there are cooking class, baking class, accounting, front office, houskeeping, and many more. I was too nervous and afraid of baking and cooking practical class because i never stepped my feet into the kitchen before. Im afraid that i won’t pass the class because i have no basic knowledge at all.
But after learning for few weeks in the practical class, all my fears are gone. I found that cooking and baking are fun, especially I learn from the actual chefs. I learn everything from the beginning like how to prepare the ingredients, how to cut, how to measure, how to mix all of the ingredients, and how to process become the product or food. All the lectures teach us to pay attention to the taste, the presentation, and time. If we follow all the steps correctly, we will produce a great food.
To tell you the truth, i don’t know why I chose this major. Maybe it began where I had the dream to travel the world and chose to become a tour leader. Unfortunately, my dad disagreed with it. Therefore, i decided to take the hospitaliy managemet in UPH. Is similar right? I had no idea that being in this major requires the skills to interact with other people and take care of them. I’m the opposite from those. So, maybe God puts me here to change and improve myself even others. Okay everyone! let’s see whether i have made some changes or not :)
