So noisy… I’ve had the honor of playing Hinata Shouyou, I’m Suga Kenta.  Listening to what everyone else had to say… I’ve been wondering what to say myself since about a week ago.  I thought about it constantly, but strangely, I just couldn’t get it together.  And even now, I don’t really feel like I will. But, I can say that this production has a huge presence within my heart.  Of this, I’m certain.  I have nothing but gratitude.  Um… in three years… there were painful times, a lot of it was tough, that’s for sure but… all I can remember now is how fun it was.  I can only think of everyone’s smiling faces, eating together with everyone, rehearsing together, touring together… that’s all I can bring to mind.  I love Haikyuu.  And I love everyone I met through Haikyuu, and I love this Engeki that we performed in together.   I… when I think that I won’t be Hinata anymore, I do feel a little sad but… the fact that I could be Hinata until now makes me 100 times happier.  And… the friends and teammates that I met through Engeki Haikyuu are my pride. Thank you very much for these three years.

Jameela Jamil reveals why she turned down role of deaf woman

Jameela Jamil has revealed she turned down the role of a deaf woman because she did not want to deprive a disabled actress of a job.

[Jameela Jamil said,] “I said it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to take that role and they should find a brilliant deaf woman to play that role. I think you have to make those choices and not be too greedy and make space rather than take space.”

Jamil added: “I don’t want to be part of erasure.” Her comments come amid the ongoing debate over roles for minority groups in Hollywood.

However Cate Blanchett believes actors should be able to play any role, and said: “I will fight to the death for the right to suspend disbelief and play roles beyond my experience.”

Jamil said a “big change needs to happen” in the industry.

She said: “I think it’s a very tricky one. I can understand where people are coming from when it comes to suspending disbelief but I think the thing we should actually be fighting for is more roles for people with disabilities and more roles for LGBTQ so there aren’t just five a year and then those get taken by big names.”

Scam Alert - Commissioning Artists Beware

Artists, there’s a scam going around on Twitter at the minute, and you never know, someone might try it over here.

This guy is messaging commissioning artists and attempting to gain access to their PayPal by pretending to need a code to pay the bill. Obviously we all know that’s bull, but if someone isn’t paying attention, is unfamiliar with PayPal commissions as a whole, or is just desperate enough for that commission money?  They might fall for it. OP’s tweet here.

PayPal will not require a code for someone to complete payment.

It’s just not how it works, I know it, you know it, the scammer knows it.  But he’s gambling on the potential that someone (and that someone is mostly likely to be a young, new artist without much commission experience under their belt, let’s be honest) doesn’t know it.  Let’s make sure everyone does. So if you’d be so kind, please boost the everliving hell out of this.  Don’t let anyone fall prey to this shady, shady individual, either here or on twitter or anywhere else.
