My first quarter at Northwestern so far...
Things have been going pretty well! Yes, it has been very stressful, as you can probably tell due to not updating this blog. Studying with Professor Callus has been a dream! I am improving so much. I had to change my technique completely, but I know that once I get the hang of it, all of this will have been totally worth it! I am currently learning the Rebecca Clarke Sonata, and starting next week I will be starting the Hoffmeister Concerto. I get to perform it with the Baroque ensemble in February! Yay! Things are looking up!
Well, that’s all for now. <3
One big happy viola family <3
commencement concert!
I just graduated from Juilliard!
I’m gonna miss this school so much.
But now I’m onto new things, and I know that it is for the best. Northwestern, here I come! <3

I’m gonna miss Juilliard a lot.
Going to Northwestern University next year for grad school! woo!
I’ll be studying with Helen Callus, one of my biggest role models. She is such an amazing violist and inspiration. <3

3 auditions down, 1 to go!
Colburn, Yale, and Juilliard were a success. MSM on Thursday! Wish me luck! I need to get into grad school haha.
1 grad audition down, 3 to go!
Just got back from Los Angeles this morning. I think my Colburn audition went pretty well :) Now I just have to play the waiting game to hear the results.
Yale audition tomorrow, then Juilliard and Manhattan School of Music next week. Wish me luck!
woo back injury...
it is really the absolute worst when you can only practice 30 mins before feeling like your back is going to fall apart.
my back is currently taped up.
more support would be greatly appreciated :(
*weeps*
me and my best friend. We have our ups and downs, but at the end of the day, I always come home to him.
<3 you Gerard. You are one hell of a viola.
Yours truly
