My apologies...

For not being very active for the last few weeks-- I was away on MCB Camp Pendleton as the BATCOM for Sea Cadet RTC. I also just moved out of my mom's house and to a town about an hour south from where I was living, so I've been trying to get situated and back into the swing of things.

As of 15JUL12, I'll be away for another Sea Cadet evolution; this time it will be for Seabee training at the base that I live right next to. It's not too far away from home, but I won't have internet access which means no posts for another two weeks...

I hope to have a queue set up this time around so that the blog won't be completely dead.

Oi vey!

I understand that it has been a week or two since I've updated this blog-- I've been busy sorting out life and I return to you all with some rather good news! First of all: I am now enlisted in the Navy! Although I did not get the Corpsman or Seabee contract as I was hoping to get, the job I have is really not that bad. I am going to be an Aviation Machinist's Mate (AD) and I will be leaving for Great Lakes, IL 20121114 (November 14, 2012 for those who can't read military dates)! Hooyah! I also walked with my high school class and received my high school diploma! I will be gone intermittently over the summer, but, for the most part, expect to see this blog active all the way until I leave for boot camp. I'm not sure what I'm going to do... I'll probably set up a queue to post one or two things every week until I'm back. What have you all been up to in my absence? Chief
