Moldable Foamy Sonic was feeling a bit lonely, so I made him a little friend: everyone meet Tails Made with Moldable Foamy! 🦊💛

This little fox proved to be harder to make than the hedgehog. It took me a while to get the right shades of color for his fur, plus all the deTails like his bangs, his fur, and of course, the twin tails.

Hey guys, been awhile since I’ve posted. I’ve created a poseable Bruno Madrigal doll out polymer clay and felt. It’s not finished yet, I still have a few more details to work on (like the detailing on the ruana, the sandals, and refinishing the arms and legs). 

It’s my first time sculpting with clay so I’m a little inexperienced (especially in making the faces and hands. I also gave him really poofy and longer hair . I thought that if I trimmed it down any further, it would look a little weird. I also plan on reworking on the hands and feet). I mainly decided to create my own doll since there is a lacking of Bruno Madrigal merchandise and the ones that do exist aren’t really poseable, so... here we are!

 I want to get better with working with polymer clay (there were problems with cracking in the clay), so if you guys have any advice, please let me know!

I read all the health pamphlets as a child.

“Look for lumps,” they said, “watch out for unusual lumps and discharge.”

They did NOT say, “By the way, some areolas have little bumps on them. And some get pimple-ish things around the edges. Or on the nipples. These are not the lumps we are talking about, and that is not the discharge we are talking about.”

I spent years worrying about whether I had breast cancer. (I got exams, every year or two, and those were always fine and I stopped worrying. Mostly. But then a new tiny bump would show up on the edges and I would wonder IS THIS IT? …but not ask to see a doctor because 14-year-old girls worry about everything, all the time, and six months ago the doctor poked at my breasts and didn’t say anything alarming, so this is… probably fine? Like last time?)

I had a slightly more present and caring doctor tell me what I need to be looking for specifically are lumps that feel like peas or grains of rice.

That distinction cleared so much up for me, like, breast tissue is all lumps and bumps normally (which is what mamories feel like to me). What the hell do they mean by lumps????

Now I know.

The lumps will be new and in unusual shapes, densities, or places (if it’s close to the areola and feels pretty evenly shaped chances are it’s just the gland you’re feeling but it never hurts to ask your doctor to double check for you). Also the illustration is a little… misleading I guess? Because the lumps I was taught to look out for are not really visible. The one I had removed (thankfully turned up benign - between that and the uterine fibroids apparently my body just likes making lumps it’s kind of annoying) we literally caught because I scratched an itch and found it, my doctor at the time said it was so small she’s pretty sure accidentally is the only way I would have found it.

If in doubt always ask your doctor, and always bring it up if there’s anything new so they can do a more thorough exam if need be. I exist in challenge mode because I have dense breast tissue, mammary glands that are sometimes active for no reason (basically now unless the discharge changes color I ignore it) and are palpable like lumps from time to time, and eczema that will crop up pretty much everywhere on my body sometimes.

Also, something I do not see on this post that is important: AMAB FOLKS CAN GET BREAST CANCER TOO (yes, this includes cis men).

It’s much more difficult to detect lumps if you have fibrocystic breasts like I do (fairly common in women with PCOS), but it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t check.

Just a little sketch of my oc. I dont really have much of a backstory on him, just the basics.

For instance, his name is Caleb Bingham, he is mostly known as ' the cool popular guy ' at school. He is adventurous, loving and caring, maybe a little bit arrogant. But that is easily overlook because of his honesty and genuine personality.

I'm not completely done with his overall desogn, but I'd to call this a start. I also have a lot of other characters that I've made and most likely would them here soon.

I made this with pen and colored with crayons. ( I wanted to try something that was going to be a little difficult ).
