hello moots back again as i’m leaving venice 😔 it’s been lovely but i’m ready to be around family and boyfriend again

prayed for the first time in about 15 years today, asking for a sign to believe in the human race and religion again, then had a horrible experience with a man who’s made me afraid to leave the house. if a god does exist they have a sick sense of humour

been having a lovely time so far, but feeling a bit lonely today tbh. made friends but so far not been out with them outside of classes or uni organised activities

i did ask today but the ones i’m closest to have a presentation due tomorrow so fair enough, hopefully they’ll want to tomorrow though they’re doing some art tour that i didn’t get a spot on soooo i hope they won’t be too tired to go out

people are odd man

went for a walk in the morning to wander a bit before the heat gets too bad and to enjoy the quiet, because venice is beautifully silent in the mornings. it was gorgeous right up until this mid 50s american guy loudly goes “siri play back in black ac/d” - not to his headphones but to his phone loudspeaker?? and so he’s just jogging very slowly along to back in black, at top phone volume, in the middle of a silent street?? i stared at him cause what the fuck universe are you in where that’s normal behaviour, and he looked offended???

but now sat with a rum and coke opposite a couple who have absolutely zero chemistry poor girl looks miserable
