i’ve been hearing from multiple people that either: junior year is going to the best year of my life where everything i choose to do determines my future, or junior year is hell and nothing that i do will change my future.

but to be honest, i’ve stressed and worried myself every year. coming into a new year, i worry, i cry, i hope for the best, and every time.. i always find myself to be okay in the end. it gives me a moment to look back on and laugh about how i was so silly for thinking it was the end of the world!

i want to be fairly active here, maybe just posting random thoughts, but my main goal is to document everything this year.

i completely miss the point of people choosing to see the bad in everything. i acknowledge that it is hypocritical to say this myself, i do not always look towards the negative but i often doubt that something positive will happen. however, i believe.

i believe in the good of it all, even when i’m surrounded by doubt. i don’t think that even for a moment i was meant to be hateful towards anyone or anything. of course i have my moments where i feel like this is all an act, and i should be able to hate without the weird feeling that this is not me.

i’ve come a long way to realize this. i’ve been tested of my own patience and kindness all throughout my life, but in my mind, it all will pass. like no, i’m not going to easily become a doormat to people if i feel bad for them. i have a backbone. but i will not deprive someone of a small favor just to set my boundaries. it’s simple to think to yourself if you’re “pushing it”.

001. decide what you want. let's use perfect skin as an example. you want your skin to be clear, moisturised and smooth. be specific

002. say you have it. in your mind, out loud, write it somewhere, doesn't matter.

"I have perfect skin" — wow, you've made an assumption, good job!!

003. persist. you know what's true now — you have perfect skin — and stick to it.

looked in a mirror and saw a pimple? no you didn't, your skin is perfect, you dgaf.

wonder if it's working? it already worked, you don't have to worry.

someone pointed out your skin looks worse? it's a lie, your skin is perfect.

catch yourself thinking 'my skin is so bad today'? remind yourself it's not true, your skin is perfect.

just like that. get used to changing your thoughts into your affirmations.

004. well, that's basically it. just a few words on methods:

affirming — basically thinking, so that's useful;

sats — good if you struggle to accept everything is that easy and it can be real;

list — perfect if you have a lot of things you wanna manifest! affirm you have everything from your list.

anything works if you say so and if you like it. manifesting is easy and fun. remember that. don't overcomplicate things, don't overthink.
