And then R2 spent the next 20+ years fucking up Vader's shit.
Who carried the Death Star plans from Padme's daughter to Padme's son?
Who flew copilot on the mission to blow up said Death Star?
This guy.

100% always subscribe to the idea that when Anakin says "I don't like sand. It's course, rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere" it is not as dumb as it sounds because theres a language barrier here
What he's trying to do is refer to a particular type of sand, and make a comparative metaphor to the sand on Naboo (iirc theyre looking out over a lake with a shore) and also the cultures of the two places.
However, Huttese and/or Amatakka would have many words for sand of all different kinds (like how Inuit languages have lots of words for snow), so while he is referring to something specific, it just comes out as sand. The descriptors after are course correcting in order to clarify what kind of sand he means.
So what he's trying to say is "on Tatooine we have course, rough and irritating sand (and metaphorically my home planet was very hostile). But here on Naboo you have nice smooth sand (and metaphorically you're all really nice and live peaceful, luxurious lives)". Its a compliment to her planet and how safe and relaxed he feels around her. Also sand metaphors are probably very commonplace in Anakin's vocabulary since all his native languages and his formative years revolve around an environment with pretty much just sand.
"Everything delicious starts with C"
Of course.

Why is obi-wans padawan lore so insane. Qui-Gon didn't want him as his padawan so he got kicked out of the jedi where he was sold into slavery and tried to commit suicide to save a bunch of people which made qui-gon rethink his decision. Then they went to a planet where a war between children and adults was being fought and qui-gon LEFT HIM THERE to become a child soldier. THEN obi-wan (still a child) had a prophecy bestowed upon him saying that the only thing he was destined for was "infinite sadness." What. Mustafar was just another Tuesday for this bitch
