frankly the backlash against the women's team is disgusting. not only is it coming from majority british people, being shocked at how 'outside the pale' they were, but its literally just.. a song? its a traditional celebratory song to sing. there's nothing new about it. the backlash the women are facing feels sexist at worst and entitled at best. i absolutely hate the media and how much they're blowing this up, too
