this is random, but in the wnba app when they show clips and replays and stuff, they refer to certain players by their first name and others by their last. like they’ll refer to km as kelsey, dougie as paige, dnd as a’ja. but cc is always clark. it’s like her and role players who get that lol. maybe a dumb thing to notice but to me it again just feels like they see her as a symbol and not actually part of the league it’s weird

interesting considering there's two kelseys in the league and another clark 😭

Stinker and upset were expected and judging by presser staff don’t expect her to shoot as well either but I just hate when she chased that’s 3pt streak instead of driving or relying on middy. Her 4th quarter was great and when she did hit shots they were timely so not much complaining bc there’s not much to take from this game imo

It's really been funny to see when Caitlin has a good game her fans aren't bringing up any other players to compare her to, but when other players have a good game the first person on their mind is her lol. Like I've never seen a "Caitlin is who you thought ____ is" type post

same omg and angel & dougie fans posting caitlin's statline as some diss like they were itchingggg 😂 there were some liberty fans that weren't even mad about the loss they were just happy that cc didn't go crazy which is hilarious to me.

I’m surprised I’ve never heard anyone say this, but to me she clearly picks up her dribble because she keeps thinking they’re going to start playing with pace and someone will cut to where she’s envisioning but they never do lol. obviously that’s on her like I’m not excusing it but the reasoning is so clear to me

yeah a lot of times the offense stagnates and people sit at the 3 pt line instead of cutting or you end up where someone just curled off a secondary screen and both players are just standing there too close together it irks me 😭

i think it's a fair criticism but i've just heard it so much through submissions and gcs im just like okay cause i know lmfao her turnovers this game were annoying though cause she had zero in the second half the previous game because she was more focused on scoring and getting them involved was still a focus but not as hard hedged as this one imo and she picked up her dribble too soon a couple of times this game. it is what it is though her game management will continue to get better

About to sound like an anti but these turnovers are really getting old now. You can clip half of them from this season and they just her refusing to shoot and forcing a pass

idk and there's nothing in the WNBA rule book that states it. when angel was suspended for a half she still sat on the bench but idk if that mean anything since it's just a half
