i feel like there’s some dishonestly about the reality of coaching her —yes there’s a big magnifying glass on her and everyone around , everyone isn’t suited to deal with that why do ppl think fever are throwing bags of money and we can’t swing big impact players we wanted ? it’s been a constant media circus and lack of a publicist does not help. when fever does post those little vids fans just cry about it being in-genuine , they stop and fans cry about not doing anything. everything has been self imposed and as much as she’s recently said she has to do better abt that stuff this is what happens when u don’t. fc cannot brag about being the face or her on court personality then complain when stuff like this happens —this is exactly what comes with not only being in this position but also the on court persona and little to no person-ability to balance anything. at some point the action has to be matched with the constant quotes abt being aware of the lens, wanting to be a better leader, and being aware of impact until it does this will be the reality. sides deadass looked like a zombie in those comps of her pre season til after a season at fever like yes coaches may find her shiny and be keen on the idea but there’s alot that comes along ; like everyone talks abt a trade or leaving as if we aren’t seeing the media reality of what happens when she -the org-the team underperform ; execs are not risking the mental of the orgs or players for that. if there wasn’t truth to it ppl wouldn’t be weary of her spot on that team —which sue bird is currently promoting with paige on the flyer of on her story.
