Some art from mokumokuren!
Mokmok recently posted about how the manga is in its final stages of serialization and it made me quite sad… when put into perspective like that, there really aren’t many chapters left to be released (˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥) If anyone knows approximately how many chapters are left/when its supposed to be completed, please let me know…
Poor Hikaru, being treated like a sealed, cursed object...
You know, this puts me in mind of a Kodoku curse jar, the one where you put poisonous animals in a jar until there's only one survivor. And if that's not an eel, that's a sea snake, judging by its oarlike tail. I think all sea snakes are poisonous.
parent-teacher night
I think you guys should know that I misread "draughthorse" as "daughterhorse" and that Maya has a fake horse sister.
We're the Worst Dissidia Players
(I recently joined a guild on Dissidia Duellum called the WorstDDFFPlayers, a tongue in cheek guild made by people struggling in matches. I made an anthem/poem about us.)
We're The Worst Dissidia Players
By: Kagami
[Verse]
We're the worst Dissidia Players,
We're really not that good.
We lose our fights when we don't play right,
And we're really sorry too.
We wish there was a Sorry Emote so we could apologize~
But all we've got is Thank You! Nice Work! when we're running out of tries.
Though maybe we're actually not that bad,
And we can just take a joke~
Hey wait, what's this? A TPK?
Well, let's come together and mope.
[Chorus]
We're the worst Dissidia Players,
We're really not that good.
We lose our fights when we don't play right,
And we're really sorry too.
[Verse]
We've got the worst Clive
(Somehow there's five)
And our Warriors forget that they're tanks.
And please don't forget,
Those who cheered, "Zidane Get!"
But were shamed out of playing on ranked.
[Chorus]
We're the worst Dissidia Players,
We're really not that good.
We lose our fights when we don't play right,
And we're really sorry too.
[Verse]
Our Promptos get mobbed by one rival,
And our Onions forget to slay mobs.
We're often too fragile to rescue our mates,
And sometimes we go and killsteal by mistake.
So when they die, all we can cry, is,
"Sorry, just doing my job!"
[Chorus]
We're the worst Dissidia Players,
We're really not that good.
We lose our fights when we don't play right,
And we're really sorry too.
[Verse]
But lay down your harpoons, and down Heals like ales,
Athough we mistime those a lot.
We play what we like, and give our best shot.
And at least we don't spend like whales.
[Chorus]
We're the worst Dissidia Players,
We're really not that good.
We lose our fights when we don't play right,
And we're really sorry too.
But we've had our good fun, so so what, who cares?
In our hearts we've already won.
[The list of characters is short because I speak from self-deprecating experience. I main Prompto because he was the first character I drew a full kit for, and I am often killed by rivals before I can accomplish much. My second is Warrior of Light, and since Prompto is fragile, I tend to forget that Warrior shouldn't be running away. I had fun with Zidane early game, but he's weak, fragile, and hated so much that I stopped.]
[I haven't played Clive or Onion Knight, but several people in the guild call themselves the Worst Clive. I know that Onion Knights need to slay mobs to be viable, and his players are often frustrated when their teammates steal the kills.]
People have written a lot of touchy-feely pieces on this subject but I thought I’d get right to the heart of the matter
[The artist, putting a simple cake next to a much fancier one: “Aw man, that guy’s cake is way better than mine.” The Audience, gleefully holding up a knife and fork “HOLY SHIT! TWO CAKES!”]

“Holy shit two cakes,” I mutter to myself as I do fucking anything these days, this post was a godsend
I know it’s not July yet, but guys, happy 10 years of “two cakes”. This post on god has been a godsend not only as a writer myself but as a friend of artists and writers who I love to encourage. This was legitimately a game-changer.
OP thank you so much for this.
I just realized something really funny when replaying Persona 5.
Okay, at the start of Persona 5, the Metaverse app appears on Joker's phone, and is weird and creepy and suspicious, and Joker deletes it right away. Standard procedure nowadays. But it's magic, so it keeps coming back.
Meanwhile, all the way back in the first Shin Megami Tensei game, the hero gets a weird email saying that demons have invaded and the only way to defend yourself is to download the weird program conveniently attached. To be fair, this was before phishing. And there's one guy who just deleted the email, saying you can't download just random things off the internet.
(I actually have a fanfiction where Kazuya gets phished and loses his bank account info. But he gets better).

I like how uncanny this is. "Hikaru's" red eyes look like the red eye photograph effect, but then you see the bite marks, and the blood on his fingers and mouth.
The impression I get from this is a story with the same plot beats, but it goes in a different direction. "Hikaru" comes back wearing Yoshiki's best friend's corpse, and Yoshiki lets him stay, even as "Hikaru" starts preying on the other villagers, and Yoshiki himself.
041326 // the current state of belief in nounuki-sama
most people are skeptical. however, among those whose families have lived in the village for generations and have lost a relative to a mysterious disappearance or unexplained death harbor a sense of awe.
yet, the last reported case of a mysterious disappearance was nearly 50 years ago, involving the daughter of the matsuura family, and many believed that the other unexplained deaths of people who had gone into the mountains were unrelated to nounuki-sama.
very few people knew about the duties of the indou family, and there was no ostracism or social exclusion.
takeda, mikasa, and matsushima were concerned about this situation and were struggling to preserve customs.

I can appreciate Yoshiki's reasoning. Nobody figured out Hikaru from behavior alone; Yoshiki found his body, and Asako could hear his distorted voice. If you don't know about all the supernatural bullshit going on, the more plausible explanation is that Hikaru acts weird because he has brain damage.

Something that struck me about Nocturne in particular are the stairs and elevators. In a lot of games, especially later 3D Shin Megami Tensei games, if you use a stair or elevator, there's just a sound effect and then you're on the next floor. But in Nocturne, stairs are rooms where you can walk from one floor to another, and elevators are fully modeled. I remember the sixty floor ride in the Mantra Headquarters, and how you have to wait with the Demi-Fiend.
Please help them
I love these medieval fantasy world guys trying to see how modern life works, especially since we don't get any of this in canon.
Today I picked up Persona 5 again after a long hiatus. But my console was running slow, so it stalled on this screen.
My whole TV, completely black except for Joker's mask. I was half expecting something to crawl out like a creepypasta or something.
物腰柔らかいけどさすが東京で生き抜いたサムライってくらいに肝が据わってるカツアゲっぷり
“The senior’s imposing presence is conveyed only through two sentences:
Flynn: ‘Is that it? Don’t you have anymore?’
He’s quite a gentleman but, as expected from a Samurai that has lived through Tokyo, his extortion skills are frighteningly bold.
Nanashi: (in the back) 'Giiive usssー moneyyyー’”
You guys just have to trust me on this one and click here okay?
OH MY GOD I NEEDED THIS
For the chronically anxious and/or otherwise mentally ill:
This is not a screamer, jumpscare, or any other kind of horror link I don’t know the name of. It will not cause you to question reality and as far as I’m aware, there is no reason it should cause any kind of hallucinations or psychosis. I don’t want to spoil the surprise because it’s DELIGHTFUL but I am happy to tell you it’s very sweet and gentle and also great lowkey stress relief. This is a cinnamon roll link appropriate for all ages (yes, all the way down to babies) and you will enjoy it if you click it. ❤️
