Days bled into each other at the Sanatorium and soon, Monty found himself less eager to get to work than he was to get home– there was excitement and friendship to be had at the bar, but there was something else waiting in the myriad of boxes and chaos of his apartment. He was grinning now, as the clock edged closer to another shift done, whipping around to face a new patron at the bar. “What can I get you?” The fae asked cheerily, pausing when he recognized the face. “Callum!” He exclaimed, reaching for a glass, “Welcome back, I haven’t seen you in a while.”
Somehow, it seemed like an age since Cal had properly gone to the bar. Not to say he hadn’t gotten drunk, but he’d been doing it at home or in less public places but it was about time he got back out on the town. He’d generally had good luck at The Sanatorium so that’s where he found himself, He noticed Monty at the bar and smiled, much less drunk than last time they’d had their little encounter but no less pleased to see the other fae. Cal took a seat and waited for Monty to notice him, smiling when he did. “It has been some time, hasn’t it? I guess I missed you too much to stay away any longer.” Cal gave him a cheeky grin. The night was starting out well already. “Make me another one of your surprise drinks. It worked so well last time.”
