The urge to do something drastic with my main character is rising again and I'm genuinely trying my best to suppress it because it feels like I do this every other fucking month lmao

Eventually I think I'm gonna change Kiku's tribe name to a player made one of my own creation, just because I can, partly, and mostly because I struggle to make characters otherwise work within parameters which other players expect? If that makes sense?

Like if they are a Gharl I have to make sure to not make their history lore bending or to even include anything past the one line of info we get about most of the premade tribes, just so that their character background will play nicely with whatever other Gharl/insert premade tribe name here they meet, you know what I mean?

At least with a tribe of my own making, providing I choose an esoteric enough name that isn't super commonly used as a player made tribe or that isn't used by an RP group at present, I can kinda just do whatever the fuck I want with their history and it becomes canon lol

Twelve bless my auntie for literally giving me a 27 inch BenQ monitor for my laptop and my PS4 so I can actually game without having to wait for my parents to be out/asleep so I can use the TV! She's also sent a new keyboard for my PS4 to my house because I was complaining about my £10 one from Amazon the other day being crap 😭

Also, housing wizards, how do I make my first floor look like a garden and have it lead into the basement without being like 'LOL HI HERE'S SOME STAIRS. IN THE GARDEN. GO DOWN THEM PLS.'

Give me the good sense to gather everything that is gatherable myself EVEN when it takes longer because damnit all my gatherers are 80 and geared, wtf am I buying (non-combat) crafting mats for?!

See above but with crafting, cos excepting expert recipes and a couple of master books I'm too lazy to get, I can probably craft 90% of the items craftable in game.

Maybe I'll finally do it after I finish the new content aha ah ha hhhhh

God bless my aunt is giving me a monitor tbat my uncle has finished with and it's a BenQ. I can connect my PS4 to it so I can play games while my parents are up and about as I don't need the 'big' TV anymore. Well, or I won't when she has time to bring it over anyway.

I got my obnoxious sparkle-crutch (not crotch, ya perverts) today and it was WORTH EVERY PENNY though I need practice because I keep tripping over lmao

Convinced that FFXIV character artists hate my money or somethin'

Anyway, looking for an artist good with drawing Xaela and scars preferably! Hoping for a flat colour to rendered, bust to half body, or two maybe depending on your price point. Ideally one I can use as an icon OR just a straight up icon commission I can get from you as well as the other art. Again, what I get depends on your prices really!

Finally caved and got myself a forearm crutch because I think I'm starting to accept that I actually deserve help and to not constantly be in agony and despite my mum flipping out about what I spent on it, (which was just under £70 but she hates me spending money on anything but bills, rent, and her and told me that it was a 'waste of money',) I'm pretty happy with my choices...

(Of course I got THE most obnoxious and sparkly option available lololol)
