Hey all!

It’s been a while. About fives, six months, iirc,,

So this project is not dead. Far from it, actually; I’ve had chapter four half-written here in isolation for Entirely Too Long, so long I may need to re-tool it. Hasn’t stopped me from mapping and re-mapping the project a couple times to get us to our destination smoothly (though I’m an engineering student, not a pilot, please do not trust me with a plane). That’s the plan, anyway.

I make no promises for a schedule, at this point, but I’m hoping to wrap up the fic by this 4/13 so I can show yall some animatic-type things I’ve been working on! I’m rusty from a very. Very turbulent time (family trouble, health trouble, family health trouble...) last year, and while I’m hoping that I’ll be in a better brain- and health-space than I came into winter break with, I’m still going to be trudging out here doing my best no matter what.

If it is absolutely any consolation, it turns out the kitten we rescued has trained himself to be my support cat. So, net one (1) good thing that didn’t exist before 2020.
