My penultimate design from this spring/summer.
"Sleipnir"
A silver bangle with mechanical clasp named after the mythical 8 legged horse of Odin.
The assignment was to base it on a specific style period. I chose Norwegian art-nouveau/ jugend-style. Which was in turn greatly inspired by Norse medieval art.
Examples below are all made between the 1890’s-1910’s.
