Ayakashi Akashi is a freeware occult mystery novel by △○□× (Miwashiba) made in RPG Maker MV. Currently, it goes up to Chapter 1. It will be released a chapter at a time. Enju Yoinara is a middle school teacher at the small, rural Yusei Junior High. A strange encounter one rainy morning is quickly forgotten as the rest of the day goes by without incident. But the next day, tragedy strikes in his classroom, and a very bizarre mystery begins to unfold… This is a visual novel with minimal interaction. It can be played in-browser, though images and sounds may be slow to load at first. There’s also a downloadable version that will load much quicker. A final note: Certain illustrations have two variations. By default, gory images are silhouetted, but there are more detailed versions that carry an R-15 rating. You can switch “Graphic Content” on in Options.
