i love this blog so much because i can just write

i can write about literally anything

i miss talking on the internet and i feel like i have so much to tell you! i was so active on tour this year and got to meet so many faces. i’m so grateful for that, and finally getting to tour these songs across the USA was a dream

but the tour had a lot of complex layers too. and obviously i pulled out of the last five shows in california. i had to make some hard decisions and end relationships with former partners to protect myself and my art. i’m honestly so glad i did

i’ve been gone the last few months because i’ve been working on my debut album for real! i have my favorite ideas i’ve ever had in my life and it’s been so much fun. i’m nowhere near finished but i just want you to know how excited i am. if you’ve been here since the beginning, i think this is going to feel very full circle

california i owe you some shows. i don’t really know what touring looks like for me right now because i’m in full create mode. don’t expect a full tour like earlier this year, but i’m definitely planning a mini run. i miss being on stage too much to stay away for long

thank you for sticking around. seriously. i’ve had this page since i was fourteen and it means the world that it’s still a safe outlet for me
