GOD IS LOVE
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but shall have everlasting life. — John 3:16
Whenever I think about God’s love, I could not help but be in awe and in full reverence.
Who am I that the King of kings and the Lord of lords would love me and create me in His image and likeness?
Who am I that the Lord Jesus Christ would sacrifice His life and die on the cross to save me from my sins? That the sinner that was once meant to die, should now live and have everlasting life in Christ Jesus?
Who am I that the Lord has loved me even before I knew Him? That before the beginning of the world, He has chosen me?
We do not deserve this love, but because GOD IS LOVE and with His abundant grace and mercies, He has loved us so much.
Oh how great and marvelous are the works of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ,
I thank You for loving me. Even my life is not enough to thank You for everything You have done for me.
I humble myself before You, Dearest Jesus. Please use me as a vessel of Your love, that in the abundance of love that You have showered in my heart, I may also share it to those that have yet to understand what it means to be loved by You, Oh Most High.
Please always hold my heart and my hands. Guide me in the path that I should walk.
I love You, Dearest Jesus.
In Your Mighty Name, I pray,
Amen
Nothing Can Separate Us from the Love of God
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. — Romans 8:35;37
Nothing can separate us from the love of God, but sometimes, it’s as if someone can—that someone being ourselves.
Only we can separate our heart from God.
We were all given free will, and it is through that which we were given a choice.
The perfect love of God endures all things and allows nothing to separate us from His love. Romans 8:38-39 even enumerates those that we might even think could.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. — Romans 8:38-39
Truly, nothing is ever going to stop God from loving us, so let’s not take it for granted.
Accept the love and saving grace of the Lord, and depart from things separating you from Him.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ,
Thank You for loving me with Your great love.
When my heart is weak, please strengthen me. Help me that my desire to love and serve You never waiver. Please be with me through it all.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen

What’s In Your Heart?
Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. — Proverbs 4:23
Whenever we consider what composes a healthy lifestyle, how many times have we included matters about our spiritual health?
As Christians, our spiritual health should be our utmost priority. One of the ways we could take care of our spiritual health is to examine our hearts every now and then. We need to ask ourselves if we are feeding our hearts a proper and hearty spiritual diet.
Are we feeding it violence, depravity and greed? Are we feeding it negativity and hatred by reading and watching the news only?
Or are we feeding it a steady diet of God’s word to be able to process what is going on in the world in a Godly manner and act accordingly as His disciples?
We should be vigilant of what seeds we sow within our hearts, for whatever we sow, we also reap in its due time. Be careful of unknowingly sheltering seeds that do not identify with out Christian identity. Sometimes, we might miss them during our unguarded moments.
Continuously search your heart and sow seeds of goodness and love. At the same time, take out what shouldn’t be there. By doing so, we may be able to see things in a perspective that rests the heart in a manner God sees.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ,
Thank You for waking me up today with a purpose. Thank You for allowing me to grow in Your love each day; continuously teaching me to walk in Your ways and guiding me in Your light and in Your love.
Lord, I confess to You my sins. Please cleanse my heart and take away from it those that hinder me from hearing Your voice. Help me to be careful of what I allow to enter into my heart. In my unguarded moments, please be my shield. Grant me wisdom to decipher the truth behind every situation, that I may see things the way You want me to.
In Your mighty name, I pray,
Amen
