daniburke:
“I mean, I guess you could say that.” Dani stated as she took the flask, she poured some into the punch. She had told herself she wasn’t going to drink anymore. She had been doing so good since last year but now her anxiety was getting the best of her. She was about to hand it back to him when she poured a bit more and shrugged and then finally handed it back. She took a drink and made a face afterwards, “Thanks.”
“Do you want to talk about it?” He knew Dani must have been through more bullshit than most others their age. And while Callahan couldn’t necessarily relate, he was always willing to listen. He watched as she poured in a large serving of the whiskey, but he didn’t object. He had a natural protective instinct over others, especially girls, so he would be sure to keep an eye on Dani to make sure she stayed safe the rest of the night. “No problem.”
