I do think it’s a Leetle Annoying when ppl are like omg american food is so narsty and unhealthy.. look at this (food that is only sold at the texas state fair)
It does ALWAYS just come back around to saying americans are such Fatties and of course it is ~Bad To Be Fat~ It’s also very cool and fun because america is obviously the only place that uses sugar or butter to make their dishes. the only place. no other place does that

I will mock american food relentlessly for: 1. Frying everything 2. The tasteless sanitized garbage you dare calling cheese (gouda….. is not….. an extreme cheese…) 3. Not having a fresh vegetable in sight anywhere. I will never mock american food for : 1. Being based on cheap calories bc food poverty is a big thing 2. Not having traditional dishes bc its a very young country and the culinary equivalent of a teenager trying out recipes for the first time.
“Frying everything” happens primarily in the American south and is an extension of soul food which is a southern (black) American staple.
Not only do we consistently have and consume vegetables, we have regional and seasonal vegetable dishes and sides.
We absolutely do have traditional dishes that are specific to the regions and cultures found throughout the United States and the varying ethnic groups found therein. We are not children floundering around in the kitchen. We have entire unique regional and cultural divisions of food all over the US that have been passed down and worked on for generations.
You don’t know anything about American food or the cultures that curate them.
I thought I was done, but I’m not.
America is one of the most food diverse countries on the planet largely due to the massive variety of food profiles and cooking techniques melded together over the years.
The southern United States alone is a culinary banquet of flavors, colors, techniques, and food history. Each southern state has its own way of preparing soul food that is specific to the spices and culture of the black people living there. Louisiana is internationally known for its soul food. Tennesse is internationally known for its soul food. Kentucky is internationally known for its soul food. Texas is internationally known for its barbecue.
Did you know that Within the United States we have like 20 different types of barbecue and that, in the south (the real south not Texas), barbecue is not a verb? It’s a noun. It’s literally it’s own type of food that is incredibly regionally specific? It’s literally different all over and we all fight over who has the best (it’s SC).
Thousands of cookbooks have been made to try and cover the variations in soul food alone. Like we haven’t even begin to talk about other cultural influences in American food outside of the south.
“I know food” you don’t know anything about food and quite frankly this whole debate is low key rife with racism.
this also completely erases the huge varieties of native american food that has existed for thousands of years the USA is a young country but people have lived here for fuckin ever and they obviously eat and are a big reason Europe has more than just turnips and depression

Tell the native Mexicans whose borders were crossed to expand America that. Like a bitch whose country is known for eating snails, frog legs, and eye of newt is going to tell us about food. Ok.
I can’t believe this dumbass said we don’t get fresh vegetables like half of America literally grows their own food and has a bunch of farmland.

Okay y’all. I absolutely have to share this recipe with you that I found on tiktok!
This is probably one of the best recipes Out of the ones I’ve tried and it’s absolutely delicious.
I’m not very skilled when it comes to cooking, so the crockpot has become my best friend. I serve this creamy Italian chicken over pasta and my husband goes crazy for it.
It’s 4 ingredient Italian chicken in the crockpot!
For those of you who don’t have tiktok, here is the recipe:
4-6 boneless chicken breasts (depending on how large your crockpot is or how many you’re feeding. I’m only cooking for two and three chicken breasts is plenty!)
2 cans of cream of chicken soup (in the tiktok she does say mushroom but uses chicken)
1 block of Philadelphia cream cheese
1 package of Italian dressing seasoning mix
Place your chicken breasts along the bottom of your crockpot. Then pour in the two cans of cream of chicken soup, covering the tops of the chicken. Because it’s a thicker consistency I like to use a spoon to evenly spread it across the top.
Next you want to cut up your cream cheese block into cubes and place on top of the cream of chicken. I prefer to spread them out fairly even, but after it’s done cooking it’s melted anyways and then you mix it up so it doesn’t necessarily matter how you put it in. That’s just the way I like to do it. Refer to my picture, or the original video if you are confused. I’m not the best at typing directions out lol. 
Next pour your Italian seasoning over the top of everything! This is what gives it the flavor.
Turn your crockpot on low for 4 hours and then mix it up! I like to shred the chicken a little bit, to make it easier to serve. I serve mine over pasta, but you can serve it with mashed potatoes, vegetables or even by itself.

What makes you smile? What delights you? Our work should delight us! We shouldn’t run around complaining. What delights us? Is it a piece of art? Unique lighting? Cottagecore? Goblincore? Books, plants, toys, everything? Our tools should not only be functional but beautiful.
Ladies, how are we supposed to fill our homes with a sense of comfort, enjoyment, nesting, and beauty if we hate it all and don’t see ourselves in it? If we don’t cook food we enjoy, don’t have decorations that we love, and organization that works for us, we’re going to fill our homes with constant complaints. Don’t make the work harder than it needs to be and don’t think you’re somehow more holy if you’re more dour.
Laugh! Sing! Dance! Take joy and delight in your home!
This whole building and the things in it are our tool chest to care for the people who live here, including us. What makes you feel rested? A cup of tea or wine in the evening? What starts a day well? A cup of coffee or tea? A big breakfast? A shower with pleasant-smelling soap? There is nothing shameful about feminine softness and smells and sights. Each of us comes at this uniquely. One of us may love silky robes and another cowboy boots. One of us may love the pool and the other chill autumn days.
Delight in your home.

A Little Bit of Extra Thought
Your man works hard for you every day, it is only fair that you return the favor.
Never forget the importance of putting a bit of extra thought into your household chores.
When he’s showering, toss his towels into the dryer for a few minutes so that they’re warm for him when he gets out.
Don’t slack when you pack his lunch. Make sure you take care to make something he’ll enjoy that’s also good for him. A quick note on a napkin reminding him that you love him never hurts.
His days are long and busy, but a quick text to check on him will remind him of why he works so hard and make the day a bit more bearable.
He wakes up early for work, but you can wake up a bit earlier to ensure his coffee is made and breakfast is started when his alarm goes off.
Fix your hair and makeup before he gets home. Put on a dress you know he likes. The first thing he sees when he walks through the door should be you and dinner on the table. Make sure both are a pleasant sight.
And as always, fulfill his sexual desires. Sacrifice a bit of your pleasure for more of his. Don’t turn him down just because you don’t feel like it.
The home is where he comes to relax. It is your job to make sure he is able to.

- avoid cursing
- be kind to others, but especially other women! nobody likes a girl who is constantly putting other girls down
- try to incorporate more dresses & skirts into your everyday outfits if you don’t already
- write thank you notes
- sit with your knees together and your ankles crossed
- don’t gossip, it’s unkind
- be positive & look for beauty in everything. don’t put yourself, or others, down.
- always choose dressing up over dressing down
- focus on your posture
- say please and thank you
- keep your voice gentle (and especially try not to speak over others)
- avoid being attention seeking
- in general, try to stay classy and feminine while still staying true to yourself!
