Thank you! She was so happy to celebrate her birthday surrounded by people she loves and who love her.. Poor thing, you could just tell birthdays were a point of trauma for her in the past - as were so many other things. We wanted to invite other people, but I think she would’ve gotten overwhelmed.

It’s October!! Happy Fall, y’all!
Yes he was, but that seems to happen a lot with kids, they just grow and never stop growing! It’s all they do! [smiles] Ah, so sweet. Yeah, Liv was delighted, too. It was about the first thing she told me as well. [chuckles, nods] Makes sense. It’s great that you guys got away. I’d like to do that some time in the future, take the kids on a trip to see the world. We’ve never done it and it would be nice. It’s just that summer goes by so quickly, we barely see it, you know?
Tell me about it. My youngest is three now, we don’t even have any babies left. [sighs] Aww. I’m so happy to hear that. I’m so glad to see them back together, and so glad they’re getting to grow up with each other. Childhood best friends are really so essential. You should! That’s exactly how I felt, and it was a wonderful experience. I wanted to really get to see the world before they’re older and too caught up in their own lives to be able to do so. It was so worth it.

I so feel you, and I’m not even dealing with school yet.
I knew last year of residency would be tough, but it’s even more than I thought it would be. Not to mention all the rushed wedding prep in the midst of all of it.
You’ll be thankful for it, believe me. Thankful and sad all at once - it gives you more time in the day, and time to yourself, but of course you miss the little ones.
I’m sorry to hear that. It’s a lot of work, but it’s so worth it in the end. You just have to keep pushing through. That goes for both things.

The girls were so excited to go back to school this year! (Can you tell by the look on Quinn’s face? She was so ready to join her sisters lol) Second, first, and preschool for these three little ladies!

Trying to handle school dropoff, pickup, work at home, and then a night shift, and still have time to, like, eat and sleep. Help.

Here is a little collage of some of the great moments we’ve had the pleasure of sharing with our loved ones yesterday (as you can say, little missy has changed outfits a couple of times 😅). Thanks to all the friends and family that came out to celebrate this sweet girl’s first birthday! I can’t believe my baby is one, it won’t sink in. Feels like just yesterday, they were laying her on my chest for the first time. And now she is eating cake with a lot of energy, walking around and loving on everybody that crosses path with her. She is the sunlight of her dad and I’s lives and the happiest, funniest and sweetest little girl I have ever met. I am so proud to be her momma and so grateful that you all took the time to come and celebrate her with us. Thank you guys again so so much, from the bottom of Spence and I’s hearts. Happy birthday Katielou, we love you !! 🎈💕

While we were away for the summer, the littlest member of the Torres-Robbins family turned three! I thought I’d share this photo with you all, of my not-so-little-anymore little girl, exuding pure joy, which is everything she is. I hope everyone had as joyous a summer as we did, and we can all go into this school year with great big grins!

Don’t tell me! Liam’s turning three next week, and Liv six! Gosh, they just never stop growing. You haven’t missed all that much, but you have been missed. Not a day has gone by where Liv hasn’t asked me if Scout was back yet from her family trip. She’s going to be over the moon tomorrow morning when I tell her you guys are back, we’ll have to plan something, she can’t hold any longer, really. [chuckles] It’s been pretty smooth around here, really. Work is work, you know, busy as always!
Oh my goodness, already?! Wasn’t Liam just born? Tell me about it, though. Quinn turned three while we gone, I swear it was just a few months ago that Arizona went into labor with her. Aww, sweetie. I can’t wait to see them together again. Scout is just overjoyed that they’re in the same first grade class this year. She talked about her “bff Liv” all summer long, I swear. She’s going to be so excited to see her. [grins] Ah, of course. I’m ready to be back at work - I loved traveling around for two months, but I missed doing what I love most!
@askbiggrey-xx: So great that you and Arizona got to take so much time off for some family time, I see you guys had a great summer break! They all seem so grown already. Welcome back home, you guys have been missed!
Yeah, it was a pretty crazy couple of months. We had a wonderful time, we’re all super ready to be back, though. Tell me about it! Quinn turns three in just a few days, and then they all go back to school.. Time flies. Thank you! We missed you all so much. How have things been around here without us?
Two months later, the Torres-Robbins family is back from vacation! Here are some of our favorite memories from this summer :) We sure had a great time, but we missed our home here in Seattle. Next up: back to school in a few weeks!

This is exactly the position we’re in with Quinn - she was so angry this whole year that Scout and Jenna got to go to school and she didn’t, and now she’s angry she has to wait until September. At least she and Liam will be in the same school together, though! Can you believe our babies are starting school in the fall?
No, I really can’t. It’ll be fun for Liam and Quinn to be together, indeed. And September will be coming so quickly.
They’ve gotten so old so quickly.. How time flies, huh? I know! Quinn’s excited to be with Liam during the day - she adores him. I can’t wait to see what the two of them are like together as they get older.
She requested I take her photo, too, since I took her sisters’ for their last day of school. So, everyone - Quinn Taylor: soon to be three year old and preschooler! How crazy it is that my littlest will be off to school in just a few months.. Only for a half day, but still.
