I know 😭 I've just picked up on this. The song playing is actually theDOGS, but you're 100% right because Erwin's character song Hope of Mankind is an arrangement of this track. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go away and cry in a corner.

This makes me reminiscent for fandom at a time when the attitude was "ship everything that moves", and there absolutely would be clown x levi headcanons and fics going around from this without today's level of repercussions, and I just can't help but feel sad for the ridiculous amount of damage purity culture and the policing of thoughts have done to a whole generation of people where everything has to start with a disclaimer that they roundly denounce and are not shipping reprehensible things and things can only be shipped if they're known to be canonically valid and within those restrictive guidelines…

But yes, clown x levi canon of course :D
