Link rubbed his wedding band before revealing that he took Rhett's hand-me-down.. underwear (say WHAT). Then Rhett super discreetly tapped his nose (almost like he was aware it could be picked up by others) while saying that this was not a mutual exchange of underwear and ending the conversation.

By the way, how are we not losing our minds over this? I have the feeling it was mentioned in the distant past as well but my brain had erased it. The only one I have heard and could imagine doing such a thing is Link. It takes only Link's epic love and equally epic cheapness to get your childhood love's bestie's used underwear as your own...

But it's also crazy that Rhett...just gave them to him without being weirded out, even back at a time when he was way more uptight. It's also amazing how Rhett, who's more or less generous with money, is so patient with Link's frugality...
