I realised this a long time ago. A very long time ago. And I know you know how much I hate the concept of making the person you love feel special on only one day of the year. Like I said before, you deserve to feel special every single day. But in accordance with the nature of the 14th of February, I found it appropriate to write this today.

Today at work

Me: Afternoon, sir. How can I help you?

Random Guy: Hi, I'm looking for the bathrooms.

Me: *thinking he said mushrooms* Oh. Try the grocery store?

My boss: What?

Random Guy: WHat??

Me: wHAttt??

So there’s this thing...

My older brother used to do this thing when I was like, 7 years old, called shoe slicers. basically he’d chase me around the house and when i was in range, he’d launch his sandal FROM OFF OF HIS FOOT and hit me in the back of the head with it. 

Anyway, one day, he starts chasing me around the house - nothing unusual - and i run into our parents’ room. now i’m on top of their bed and he’s got me trapped in their room. he fires the shoe slicer at me and hits me right in the gut, and i land on the floor of my parents room, fracturing my elbow. 

I hope one day my parents find this post and realise why i am the way i am.
