kolharlow:
âoh really? i imagine that desire is like that of boys here in america for baseball or football.âÂ
kol shrugs, âarchitecture â lots of design, lots of math, lots of practically. itâs kind of a hodgepodge really. film production? any big film projects under way? i have a buddy who likes to make âfilms,â he air quoted, âand uploads them to youtube. they arenât particularly good, honestly.â
âI know this sounds. pretty stupid to say but wow.. you donât really think about what really goes into jobs like architecture. itâs a lot different than me just pointing a camera at myself and calling that a home movie.â he joked. he almost felt bad at the fact he really wasnât challenged at all when it came to school - but oh well.
âoh really? what kind of films?â he asked out of interest, not being able to hold back his snicker when he held up the air quotes. âawww, come on. it canât be that bad. I think anythingâs better than what major internet stars from vine bring to the platform.â he said, completely serious. âI donât have anything major underway but Iâm thinking of starting to make videos in my own time. I'm ahead in my work so why not? itâs more just trying to figure out what I want to do.â
fckinkatherinelewis:
âyoutube, eh? i canât say much. i got a cult tumblr following and the webseries i animate for is on youtube. sure, yours look like this might be a little⊠vlogy â for lack of a better word. and correct me if iâm wrong, please.â
kat couldnât help but to wonder what exactly it was about life that got in the way, but she figured it wasnât any of her business. even still, she gave callum a questioning look at his statement about it.
âi donât think youâre dumb. donât be embarrassed. in fact, why donât you continue?â
âI'm not exactly sure, to be honest. I guess Iâm going down the uh - vlogy route? It was unintentional but if it works for me.â callum said honestly, shrugging his shoulders. he wasnât exactly sure what he wanted to do for youtube, but he knew he just wanted to have a good time creating something by himself for once.Â
âreally?â he asked her stunned. he found it daunting to record by himself let alone with someone else. still, who would be better in the school to help him out? maybe even critique stuff he was doing wrong. âI guess I can... uh - give me a second.â he cleared his throat and pulled himself together for a moment. he figured he could at least film an intro and see if he had the right personality for the platform. using his loud personality to his advantage, he was quick to introduce himself and the type of video heâs be doing - a simple q&a. once he managed to finish, he looked at kat wiry.Â
âso - what do you think?
kolharlow:
âwell, our kicker is about to graduate as well, so if youâre into that â thatâs an option as well. might be a better fit for a soccer player after all. but yeah, does england actually make you in love with soccer? i figure that would be spain or like mexico.â
kol offered a hand out to callum, âkol. nice to meet you. what do you do here? iâm in the architecture program.â
âwell.. I'll definitely think about it. it would probably be good to have something going on before soccer season starts. I think I've been to enough football games to know how it works. I'll talk to your coach.â callum shrugged. why not? he wouldnât turn down new experiences. if kol thought he could do well on the team, it made him all the more curious to try it. âoh god yeah, man. weâre home to one of the biggest leagues - premiership. every boy in that country grows up wanting to be a soccer player at some point.â
he took his hand and shook it, offering a kind smile in response. âI study film production. Though Iâm pretty much involved in all types of media.â he explained. âwhatâs architecture like?â
fckinkatherinelewis:
kat was easily the most forgetful person on the planet. no exaggeration. she had been back to the studio several times since the morning when she was working in there to edit an animation for one of her courses. when she came in, she caught the tail end of what callum was saying.
âoh, no. no. i donât need the studio. just needed to get my bag. i forgot a whole bag. iâm doing well.â kat smiled and slipped the shoulder bag on. holding onto the strap, âsoâŠwhat are you doing?â
although he knew kat from some of his classes, he felt a bit embarrassed at the fact that he had been caught out by someone who knew him quite well. âI would say itâs for a project but the honest truth? donât laugh.â he said sternly along with a chuckle. âI was... thinking about making youtube videos for awhile now. I kind of used to it growing up in england but... life got in the way? regardless, it was part of the reason why I packed my bags and came to Athens. it make me interested in film and media, if that makes sense.âÂ
âso now that Iâm ahead in school work, I thought this would be the best time. might as well make use of a good studio.â he scratched the back of his neck, laughing to himself and shaking his head. âI know itâs kind of dumb... I'm a bit embarrassed right now, not gonna lie.â
for @callumâdawson
rosalieâs favorite study spot was against a tree that overlooked a grassy area where people usually did more âathleticâ things, like frisbee. not that she was paying too much attention, but a group of guys were messing around with a soccer ball today. when she looked up, she found a interest in one of the guys. she was pretty much staring at him. he looked familiar but she couldnât quite place it. it was when a ball started to fly towards her off a missed pass that she placed it; the halloween party where she was drunk out of her mind but not drunk enough to completely forget. the ball hit her her arms that were crossed in front of her face rather than her face luckily. it looked like the familiar guy was the one coming over to get the ball. she smiled somewhat awkwardly and picked the ball up. offering it out, âhey mcfly.âÂ
it had been a couple days after the halloween party, where callum woke up the next morning with a massive hangover and smudged make-up on his face. he couldnât remember for the life of him where the make-up had come from, but he figured whoever it was - he must have had a good time with them. he had spent the past couple days winding down from partying, getting back into practicing ball with the guys. they had been messing around rather than actually training, watching his friend boot the ball out of their little circle and over at a random girl. âfuck sake josh.â he mumbled, before he chose to be the one to jog over and apologise.Â
his normal smile came out when he jogged over, âhey, sorry about that.â he said, reaching down to retrieve the ball from her. it wasnât only until she said âhey mcflyâ that he had a âthatâs so ravenâ type of flashback to the party. she had been the girl he hung out as well as make-out with. âskeleton bill nye? I gotta say, you look much better without your scary make-up.â he grinned cheekily at her.Â
theyre looking đ„ but Simon defo killed me
kolharlow:Â
kol hated it when they had to practice with the second line quarterback. the guy was awful. kol was surprised he even made second string. regardless, they had to whip him into shape so that they could possibly win if anything would ever happen to luca, who was actually a good quarterback.
he was mildly impressed by the display that the man running the track had put on. âyeah, you could say that. no precision though.â he smiled and joked, âyou ever thought about being a receiver?â Â
âI guess that makes sense. Youâd be able to throw a ball far if you have no specific target.â callum joked, wiping the sweat off his brow as he fully turned towards the player. while cal had always seen him, they had never had a reason to converse until now. âah, I donât know man. iâm more of a soccer guy after all, being born in england kind of engraves that love into you.â he answered honestly but smiled with a shrug. âbut hey - I'm open to trying new activities.â
he watched the boys slowly walk off the field to relax on the sidelines, putting his attention back on kol after that. âI'm callum by the way. I donât think weâve ever had a moment to properly meet and speak to one another. Crazy how that works.â he introduced himself.Â
for @kolharlow !
regardless of the amount of pressure callum was currently under to deliver quality content  in his main course, he still managed to find time to come out to the football field. though he didnât play the typical college sports such as american football or basketball, he still wanted to keep up working out with either mile runs or soccer exercises. considering he had spent most of his week practicing his ball control, he chose this warm evening to run around the track as long as he could.Â
while he ran, he tried not to pay too much attention to the football jocks having their own practice. his reasoning behind that was to keep himself focused on improving each one of his laps. however, he couldnât help but notice one of the footballs being booted upwards and across the field. the competitive side to himself came out, immediately taking off in a sprint to where the ball was about to land. just before it could, he was able to catch it as one of the players jogged over.Â
âone of you guys really has a throw.â callum said jokingly, tossing the ball to him.Â
for @fckinkatherinelewis !
after celebrating the halloween festivities through costume shopping and near to alcohol poisioning, callum had made it his personal objective to focus solely on school work all the way up until december time. he figured it would be his smartest move to get ahead in his school work and anything he was doing alongside so he was able to breathe a sigh of relief around christmas time. that being said, he was in the media studio every single day during and after school hours. he mostly left to his own devices, rarely having any interruptions.Â
except for this day in particular, he wasn't using the studio just for his school work. he had wanted to get into the routine of making videos as his own personal hobby, uploading them to youtube in order to build up his resume for future employers. he started speaking to the camera, making an introductory video on himself. until he saw the media door open out of the corner of his eye.Â
âoh - hi! sorry.. did you need the studio?â he asked embarrassed.

please like this post if youâd like to do any type of starter or have individual plots with your characters and callum. I'm still really trying to set the scene for his character, getting him some storylines, etc. so this will be appeciated !! - anyone who likes this, I'll write up a starter for asap x
ari wasnât the type to get upset over relationships (she would say girls but sheâs had enough âgay panicsâ to say that wasnât true). it just wasnât her style. she had dealt with so much more in her life that it seemed stupid to get upset over so trivial. so she was more than confused when she found herself feeling jealous at the halloween party when she saw rosalie and kat kiss. even more so confused when she felt the effects of that kiss for days after the party. itâs not like her and kat were dating. they only ever hooked up when ari could excuse it by being drunk. obviously, kat meant more than she was willing to admit.Â
âyou ever feel like lifeâs just like orange juice after brushing your teeth? horribly unpleasant.âÂ
âa majority of the time, unfortunately. part of becoming grown up, I suppose.â callum spoke up, lifting his head from his laptop to look at the girl across from him. he had gotten time at the local coffee shop by the school, choosing to spend his day editing as well as nursing his hangover from the previous night through various types of coffees. in all honestly, he hadnât noticed that ari was sat across him - he thanked that to the fact of how loud his headphones were.Â
he had pulled them down in time to hear what she said aloud, he wasnât sure if it was directed at him or if she was speaking her thoughts. however, he chose his first approach to be a comedic one. âhave you have had 7-UP after brushing your teeth, though? your brain literally shuts off by how powerful it feels.â he said jokingly, before realising that she genuinely looked bothered. he quickly shut off his laptop and closed it, shooting a sympathetic smile. âwant me to get you anything to eat or drink?â
:0fthegh0sts
she really looked at him for the first time when the bottle landed on her. marty mcfly was handsome; not anything she would have thought of the movie marty mcfly. nothing against michael j. fox, but he just wasnât her type. granted, types were stupid and she liked to think she was above it all. and really, she was truly excited to kiss him. her fingertips tingled. it was probably that rosalie enjoyed kissing good looking people (shallow, she knows), that she was drunk, and that she genuinely enjoyed this guy. Â
âabsolutely, for science.â she beamed.
after she crawled towards him, she sat up on her knees. she placed a hand on his shoulder and put another behind his neck and leaned forward.
it really wasnât callumâs intention to be kissing any girls tonight, but he couldnât find himself complaining in this situation. looking at his mysterious friend up close, he couldnât help but be gassed at the fact that a pretty girl had crawled over to him for a kiss. feeling her lips touch his own made him automatically grin, cupping her cheek in his right hand when they properly made contact. he didnât know what it was about this situation that he enjoyed so much; he couldnât tell if he was acting like a thirsty drunk or that he actually found this whole set-up hilarious. regardless, he was getting a pretty good kiss out of it.Â
he made sure properly make out with her; not too much to make it sloppy but just right to add some tension into the mix. eventually, his other hand joined holding her face - feeling both their lips move in sync at a heated pace. he almost forgot at that moment that there were people watching and cheering around them, he was that into the make-out that everyone around them literally faded away.
it wasnât only when they both pulled away for air that he zoned back into reality, not being able to help himself but laugh at everyone clapping for them. he grinned widely at her, gently poking her cheek out of fun to see the make-up beginning to smudge, âI don't think you need to find ten people to make out with, really. i'll be more than happy to finish off the job.â he smirked with a snicker following suit.Â
âIn retrospect, dressing in a body suit for a Halloween costume probably wasnât the best choice.â Harper said laughing a bit. âBut you have to admit, my Black Widow costume is pretty amazing.âÂ
âalthough i'm a male that has no clue of the disadvantages a body suit might cause, your costume looks amazing.â callum grinned. âit makes mine look lazy. i couldnât decide whether to go back to the future or iron man.â
