Going Back Home | Jacob & Lottie
Charlotte couldnât keep calm, her whole body shook with fear. She was too far out of her depth and just wanted to run in the opposite direction as fast as she could. âI am terrified.â Gulping loudly, the hunter took a step back, âyou really shouldnât kill me.â âThen you need to prove them wrong!â Taking another step back the hunter was now wanting to flee as fast as she could, âTheyâve won in turning you into a monster. Your were probably happy and peaceful before they tore your life apart but now youâve let them succeed theyâve destroyed who you are!â Taking her knife out she attempted to slash his hand and in the attempt she managed to start running. Her legs took her as fast as they could away from the situation but she knew the werewolf could be right behind her.
Maybe he shouldnât kill her. The thought ran fleetingly through Jacobâs mind as he pulled his hand back, out of the way of her knife. He knew it wouldnât harm him; not really. But if it was silver it would produce a sting that the wolf wasnât ready to deal with. As she turned to flee, Jacob couldnât help the smirk that pulled at his lips. The game was on.Â
He let her run for a bit, before he started to chase after her. It was always more fun for the alpha when he gave them a head start. Jacob didnât let her words penetrate his mind, the animal in him stronger than the man now, as his golden gaze stayed locked on the hunter girlâs fleeing form. He didnât want to think about what she said, because a part of it was right. He was fine, only furthering the line of wolves, until the hunters had come and taken Ruth from him. Killed her and attempted to kill him--that was when it all changed. And he took to killing far more than turning, only turning the worthy few. And for the most part, he left it to the rest to further the line.Â
âI know these woods like the back of my hand!â he called out, chasing after her. âYou canât run from me!âÂ
