Summary: After you flew out to see the boys, as well as your boyfriend Michael , you’re treated like crap by everyone and decide to leave.

For the last few hours, you’d been excitedly packing for your visit to the boys. They had gone on tour three months ago, and not once had you had the chance to visit. A few days before, though, you had received a call from their tour manager, Zoe, asking you if you wanted to surprise your three best friends and Michael, your boyfriend. She had arranged everthing and you’d catch a flight in just a few hours.
To say you were happy about this visit was an understatement. You were absolutely ecstatic, and as you made your way to the airport, you couldn’t help but imagine the look of joy replace the stressed one once they saw you.
Your plane had just landed and you saw Zoe, basically running to her.
“Hi!” You beamed, hugging her tightly and putting your bags down on the floor. You two chatted for a bit, catching up on a few subjects, while waiting for a cab. When it finally arrived, you grinned in content, placing your bags on the trunk and climbing in the back with your friend.
The drive to their hotel seemed to never end, but when the man parked, you looked at Zoe. She gave you a thumbs up, assuring someone would take your bags up to Michael’s room, and as soon as she did, you rushed to the reception, asking for their room number.
You wouldn’t stand still on the elevator, watching as you went from floor to floor until you finally reached your destination. As soon as the doors opened, you looked around for the number, stopping in front of the door. Taking a deep breath, you knocked, a huge grin on your face.
It took a while, but the door finally swung open, revealing a very stressed Ashton who looked at you with a very confused face.
“Y/N?” He raised an eyebrow, and his reaction was anything but what you had expected. He seemed so… unexcited to see you, like he hadn’t even missed you at all. The other boys, including the love of your life, were playing FIFA, and, although they did glance over at the mention of your name, they had no reaction, just turned their heads back to the game. “What are you even doing here?” He asked, demolishing your happiness completely.
“Hey, guys.” You said, your smile still present on your face, but it was fake. You were nearly in tears, and you felt stupid as hell. “I missed you all so much and I decided to visit you. Didn’t you miss me too?” You asked them quietly.
“We do talk to you everyday, twice. So not really.” Michael chimed in, which made you glance at him, hurt written all over your face.
“Oh.” You mumbled, looking down. “Can I come in? And can you guys seem at least a little bit happy about seeing me?” You sighed, pushing past Ashton and heading inside.
After the last few days’ events, you were certainly feeling everything but wonderful. The boys had been so mean to you, picking fights with you and just generally making you feel like complete and utter shit. Michael hadn’t even kissed you once. He barely looked at you.
Their show had just finished, and you’d been patiently waiting to confront them about the whole problem. Although you were aware that it was probably not the best time to do so, you felt as if you were to burst if you didn’t adress it. So when they finally got to their dressing room, you stood there, your arms crossed over your chest.
“We need to talk.” You ordered, trying to sound confident. (Though you were positive you sounded like you were about to cry, which you were.)
“We’re tired, Y/N. Quite frankly, we don’t really want to hear you complain.” Calum spoke for the four of them, and you scoffed, laughing loudly and bitterly.
“I’m done, I’m totally done.” You muttered, shaking your head. “I just wanted to fucking surprise all of you, my so called best friends and boyfriend. I actually thought you’d be happy. But I can clearly see you’re not.” You laughed bitterly once more. “So I’m just gonna go back to fucking Australia, maybe even find a new group of friends, since mine are so shitty.” You spoke, purely in the heat of the moment. You saw their faces chance when you said that, looking somewhat hurt. Michael just looked at the floor, knowing he had fucked up.
“And my fucking boyfriend. Who I missed so fucking much. Who tells me he loves me everyday, and how he wishes he could hold me tight and never let go. Yup, I can clearly see that.” You sneered, sarcasm dripping your words.
“Don’t.” You snapped, reaching your breaking point. “I’m going home.” You added, and with that, you turned around, heading towards the exit of the venue, just wanting to get the hell out of that place.
