♱ I am some variant of christian. I do believe there is a God, and I stand by the teachings of Jesus. However the way in which I understand and interpret my faith infuriates most christians, which is why I call myself a sort of heretic lmao. I want to make it clear that I am a feminist and firmly pro-trans. I aspire to meaningfully militate for and support all those who are oppressed and marginalized by the current status quo.

Queer theory is so funny to me as African because I'll see all these people in the western countries trying to assign meanings to clothes and to pronouns and to parts of their personalities, they'll believe that changing their clothes or their pronouns or their language or their behavior will exempt them from misogyny. And while I understand that it is a condition of the System to keep us all separated, I can't help but bristle at the racism behind this all.
If any of these liberals had bothered to read, they would know that there exists many many communities indigenous to Africa whose languages don't have gendered pronouns, where clothing rules are different. Where men and women dressed the same, where the rules of nudity are different. Where men are effeminate. And in most, if not all of these communities, misogyny will still be rampant.
My community used to allow female to female marriages but all those women were still circumcised. My language does not have "she" or "he" but that did not save any of us from misogyny. My friend's community doesn't even have gendered slurs and she still had to run away when she was 11 so that she wouldn't be circumcised. There is no solution other than uprooting the whole system. Creating more categories does nothing.
A mini PHM comic about Grace growing old. I wanted to explore two ideas: Rocky dealing with Grace’s dementia and Grace wanting to donate his body to science. I spend so much time on figuring out the dialogue (some part still feel clunky to me) but I hope it express my thoughts on where I think Grace’s life would go :)
I'm going to Clown College, but I'm majoring in playing the straight man. So it's mostly just normal classes like Math and English. Right now we're doing calculus and reading Grapes of Wrath
I might be the only Trimax fan who actually likes all the extra hetslop they added in the '98 anime. It's embarrassing to admit but I can no longer be silent... I mean I saw genuine chemistry that didn't feel forced, partly because there was actual intent from the creative team to develop the insurance girls some more and let them share more screen time with vash and wolfwood. It wasn't just "let's shoehorn in some m/f romance because we're out of plot and character development ideas" far from it! They're getting shit done, hijinks are happening, there's suffering galore all around... And feelings develop BECAUSE of that, not in spite of it, in a way that felt natural and touching to me. Love and tenderness in the middle of all the violence and chaos. Their scenes together are cute, there's mutual respect, and none of this negates the gay shit going on between the boys, it just serves to make everyone look bisexual and polyamorous as fuuuuck.
