I love this piece and character though, I don’t know what is it with me and side characters that have a grand total of like 4-5 spoken lines but that’s the tism for ya
Tenma was sitting, his head hung low and his arms hugging himself.
"You left Raimon?" His brother in all but blood asked, voice disbelieving.
"yeah" tenma said, simply, voice weak and hoarse from crying "I did"
"where's Aoi?" The man asked, pacing around the room like a madman "isn't she supposed to be with you?"
There was a long moment of tense silence after the question, the man had walked the big distance between the two walls of the room a few times before he stopped to look at the boy "Tenma?" He asked with a softness in his voice he only reserved for his siblings
"She stayed with them" Tenma admitted, his eyes shrinking away from his brother's gaze, not daring to meet his eyes "she chose them" he continued voice soft and shaky.
He didn't expect to feel hands on his shoulders and when he looked up in surprise there were tears in his eyes "it's going to be okay" the man told him, his hands caressing his arms and grounding him to the room "you'll be okay"
"I said so many mean things to them" Tenma admitted as a son wretched through his throat "I was so mean when I left"
"they'll forgive you" the man told him, enveloping the younger one in a hug
"was this what you wanted me to do?" Tenma asked, his own arms wrapped tightly around his brother "Aoi said this wasn't what you wanted- I- I need this to be the right think" he continued, his voice shaking with sobs
"I'll make sure everything is okay" the man only replied, closing his eyes as he hugged Tenma even tighter, his face kissing the back of his head "I'll make sure you're okay"
"I betrayed them" Tenma admitted in a soft realization, his breathing picking up even more "I need all this to be worth betraying them, Shuuya, I need this to be worth it"
The man only hugged the boy tighter, his eyes flying around the room for a short moment before he was able to reply "we'll save soccer" he then replied simply "I'll make sure we save soccer"
They stayed in that room, alone with each other, for a long time after that, tending to each other as only they knew how.
Gouenji Shuuya liked to believe he was a good brother. He had come a long way from when he was thirteen with a sister in a come he was convinced he had put her in. He had come a long way from believing it was his fault. And ever since she woke up he liked to believe he had been a good brother to her just like he liked to believe he was a good honorary brother to Tenma. It was a conviction solid enough for him that it had become hard for him to question it.
But now as he held Tenma tightly in his arms, hearing the way his breath came uneaven and feeling the boys trembles, that certainty began to crack.
It was something that he should've expected a long time ago, ever since Tenma forced his way into helping him in his plan, or maybe even before that, when Shuuya made up his mind about that plan in the first place. He should've known that one way or another this situation would've broken his brother.
The worse part was the way Tenma clung to him, as if Shuuya was the only thing that kept him from breaking down completely, from falling apart. And maybe he was.
But Shuuya knew exactly what had brought Tenma to break down, it was a knowledge that weighed heavily in his chest, a knowledge that lumped in his throat. He was the reason that Tenma was breaking down in the first place.
And in that moment, as he uttered sweet and soft reassurances to the boy, making sure he wouldn't make any promise he couldn't keep, he had a realization, the kind that took the breath out of someone. 'Maybe I'm not the good brother I thought I was'

In the end I didn't really use it BUT BUT BUT I will eventually cuz I do have a scenario in mind for this exact prompt and with the same AU used in this post.
I'll get around to it eventually I'm sure.
I don't even know if you guys like when I make this "writing prompt" posts but I sure as hell love making them because they give me the chance to write extremely interesting scenes and scenarios without having to give any context whatsoever.
Like this is loosely inspired by a fic I've been working on but it's probably not gonna make it to the actual fic because it's build different.
Anyway you guys should go check this other post of mine if you want just a bit more context, it was another writing prompt post, I am having a lot of fun with these ^^
Chapter 11: Shin Teikoku and the forbidden techniques
Time Will Tell (When We Meet Again)
Kyoto and Manyuuji has been left behind, but wherever they were supposed to go next is derailed with a simple email and a desire for justice.
Kariya’s thought he was finally in a better mindset, after Manyuuji, but with the reminder of his best friend, with the agitation the team feels at the name Kageyama, he finds himself struggling again.
Suspicions are rising in the team, mainly toward Kariya, and Kirino isn’t sure how to dispel them.
It doesn’t help when Kariya makes a decision on his own, without thinking it through.
Epsilon defeats Manyuuji, and Endou challenges them next. Despite their strength, despite watching them beat Manyuuji into the ground, the Raimon captain seems certain they can do this.
Kirino knows they can’t.
Kariya has to face Desarm, he has to come to terms with all of this. Otherwise he’ll never be able to focus enough to help the team.
Do I have ANY context to this whatsoever? No not yet cause this chapter has not been uploaded nor even finished yet, but this one I feel is just too good to wait, I haven’t been this proud of a piece in ages.

It all goes over Reize's head, but he knows one thing for certain, he hates this with every fiber of his being. There's something painful watching this, something almost familiar about it too, in a way. He can't stand it, watching those two hurt themselves, and watching Raimon struggle to do everything they can to prevent it.
Even at the cost of one of their own.
He can't take it, but maybe that means taking matters into his own hands.
Someone needs to just, take ellipsus away from me, I have too many random in progress fanfics now that its CONCERNING. I have a sort of DC comics fic in the works but I have no idea if I'll ever post it.
But the premise is pretty simple: I couldn't find enough Cassie Sandsmark centric fics or a single Devastation fic to save my life and decided to just, write my own.

But I have chapter 10 almost finished (home stretch at last…) and chapter 11 is already ready! (Don’t ask how I wrote that first I don’t even know) so hopefully I’ll have an update soon!

The Day of the Departed is here, and the Yin Yang eclipse isn’t the only thing that will make this day be once in a lifetime. Morro finally gets his wish to be perceived again, yet there’s no time for him to enjoy it.
They've righted the timeline once more, at the cost of something precious. There's no undoing what's been done, no matter how much they wish it so.
And trust him, it's something Takuto deeply wishes for.
Ranmaru is gone, and Fei and Takuto have to return to the present to see if his sacrifice was worth it. With hope and desperation, they return to the present to find more problems than they even started out with.
When the Preeminent pulled him under the waters of Stiix, Morro expected the burning pain that faded to nothingness, the departure of his soul from Ninjago and to wherever he would go after the Cursed Realm’s destruction. He expected it.
What he didn’t expect is for that departure to last but a few seconds, for him to open his eyes to blue skies and the churning waters of Stiix.
But here he stands, still in the mortal realm, ripped away from his hopefully peaceful afterlife and into…
A tether he cannot escape. His own personal purgatory, chained to the one person he hates the most, and yet… he finds himself slowly hating it less and less.
