Why do they need to use such ambiguous fucking sentences

[/is at the dining table doing some drawing and colouring with Fia] "Wanna come draw with us?"
Looking up from where she sat on the couch, her hands stroking through Banshee’s soft puppy fur, she smiled and looked over to Gray and Sophia. A few months ago she wouldn’t have believed she could be blessed with such a pair but after Fia’s approval for her to be with Gray, she couldn’t have been more grateful for her amazing family.
Now she moved the husky pup to the floor and stood to go over to them, running her hand over Fia’s hair as she smiles and nods at them, her blue-black locks bouncing from the movement. She was by no means an artist, not like Gray, and Sophia’s drawings would probably turn out better than her own, but that wasn’t always the point of drawing like right now it was about spending time with the people she loves.
“Of course I want to draw with you... Oh, that’s a beautiful unicorn, Fia.” Stopping to look at Gray’s drawing she felt a small blush stain her cheeks, brushing her fingers lightly across his jaw before sitting on the chair next to him. “You make me look far more beautiful than what’s realistic, Gray...”

It has been said, ‘TIME heals all wounds.’ I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with SCAR tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone.

Gray.
Pulling himself out of his thoughts when he heard the detective speak, he smiled more and nodded. Sophia really was wonderful and he could easily talk about her for hours, though for the moment he was almost a little hesitant to keep talking about her, as it only made him want to go find and hug her.
Upon hearing the question of dance, he thought back and then shrugged, aiming a slightly smirking tease of a smile at her, “Might get her into ballet~ She hasn’t said what she’s into, but Jen’s gonna do some lessons with her before getting her into the studio if Fia still wants to try. She wanted private ones first so the kids at the lessons won’t laugh at her if she’s not good.”
He frowned a little at the other question, watching as the detective put away the food and dishes, also wondering if he should offer to help her. Did he have a photo of Sophia? He sighed and shook his head, smiling a little when the glasses of soda were handed to him.
“Nah, I don’t have one yet but I’ll make sure I get one soon,” he told her. Since he agreed it was indeed a pretty day, and she hadn’t seemed to require an actual answer from him, he followed along behind her as she headed towards the sliding door.
Of course his gaze fell to her leather clad backside and he admired the way she walked, thinking back to how she’d looked at the supermarket, bending over right in front of him. As his mind started to try imagine her without those leather pants, he almost groaned, and then forced his temperature down.
Unfortunately such an act made the drinks in his hands frost over, but he didn’t notice it, too busy studying the new area they were in once they were outside. The meticulously cared for fountain caught his eyes but he didn’t allow himself to stare at it for too long, feeling that it was something special and private.
His eyes traveled over everything else he could see, noting how perfect everything was. Looking back at the detective, he asked, “Do ya like gardening?”
It wasn’t something he’d ever had much of an interest in (despite Ur’s talks about its benefits and his faint memories of his mother), but he could imagine starting a little gardening project with Sophia.
Honestly, she wouldn’t have cared if he did go on about his daughter for hours, she wanted to know all that she could about her, but the problem with that was she he’d have to watch him while he did so, which was simply not an option. How could she possibly be expected to watch him talk about Sophia when the expression on his face did things to her that really had no business being in her body?
Now there was that teasing smile/smirk on his lips and she fought back a groan, this friendship was not going to work in any way if he kept looking like that. It just wasn’t fair... Thankfully, though, the talk about dance kept her attention from swaying too much and she nodded with a smile. She had to wonder why Jenny Realight, of all people, would be spending so much time around Gray’s daughter, not because she thought little of the woman but simply because Blue Pegasus wasn’t exactly next door.
It didn’t really matter regardless, though, and quite frankly it was none of her business why they were close. Still, she couldn’t help but wonder if her next words would be stepping on anyone's toes, she hoped not. “If she likes me, and you feel comfortable, you can bring her over and she can practice in my studio sometimes... I’ve probably got nothing on Miss Fiore but she’ll need to practice quite a bit."
Unaware of his eyes on her behind, something that would’ve brought a satisfied smirk to her face to know, she frowned slightly at hearing he had no photos of her. It wasn’t all that surprising, he’d only just been given custody of her, but still she’d wished she could have seen her and instead found herself nodding at his question as she led him through her backyard to the patio.
“Yes, it’s so soothing... If I ever need to relax and for whatever reason, my punching bag doesn’t suffice, I come out here to tend to the garden...”
Most days that punching bag took quite a pounding, it was how she got rid of the tension after cases that really shook her and made her angry because it was rare these days that anyone would spar with a martial arts expert. Sitting down now at the table on the patio, she pushed out the seat closest to her with her foot and put their food down as she waited for him to join her.
“What do you do to relax..?”
