A Brief Update About Comics and Things:

So, things are still moving forward with the new Scrambled Circuits comic. I've got some stuff I'm working on for it, and still need to finalize the inner non-comic layouts for. Two people are working on the last stories for it. I got a rough of a page yesterday and I'm so pleased with everyone I'm working with. Great artists, great people. I am so unbearably excited for this to finally be finished (And hope that the artists are pleased as well).

Aside from that, I've got something else I'd like to do. A series of short comics. I'm still trying to work out the exact details, but I see the end result being a 5 - 7 page comic, with a creepy/horror visual tone. Should have stuff finalized in a couple weeks, if someone is interested in drawing (For an exchange of human dolla dolla bills, of course) hit me up here with an Ask, twitter @camcallahan, or where ever. Finished comic would be available free on the internet and eventually part of a collection of somewhat related short comics.

In December 2010 I had a POD shirt done with this black/red version as a christmas gift to myself. I recently did another, white with a black gearhead version. Neither with the text, which I only recently settled on and added. 

I've been asked by a handful of people about shirts in the last couple weeks and I think that, because they are still sorta expensive (I'd love to get some screenprinting stuff setup so I can offer them as cheap as I can) what I might do around when this next Scrambled Circuits issue is done is offer for a brief time, if only so the 7 or so people that have expressed interest can get them. Maybe, like, a 15 dollar package of the comic + shirt and some other little things. Dont know, but thanks.

Hooked up to my TV is a computer tower that runs Linux and XBMC (XBox Media Center). One of my favorite plugins is PseudoTV, that creates a collection of real-time fake TV channels based on rules you specify and populated with content from your local drive.

I've got a set of channels based on the actual networks that a show was aired on (With a few of those being playlists, where I had to consolidate - Anything aired on any BBC channel plays on BBC, not BBC One, BBC Two, etc... and HBO + Showtime + Starz all play on one channel... Plus, I split up CARTOON NETWORK and ADULT SWIM into separate channels). Then I have a few channels that just play one show in a random order. Corner Gas, NewsRadio, Seinfeld, married with Children, Frasier, Wings. All the long running sitcoms, or most. These shows can also pop up on the respective NETWORK based channel. 

Then there are genre channels, with all the obvious ones and a few extras. I have an ANTHOLOGY channel that runs things like Twilight Zone, Tales of the Unexpected, Tales of Tomorrow, Masters of Horror, etc.... and a SKETCH channel that runs nothing but sketch comedy randomly. Then Comedy (that is not sketch comedy or any of the sitcoms with its own channel). Some are spread over a few channels. I have one that is all DC Animated shows (The Timm/Dini stuff, Batman Animated, Batman Beyond, Justice League Unlimited, etc) and a channel that is all TRANSFORMERS (G1, Animated, Prime, Beast Wars, Beast Machines) and then a general ANIMATION channel that does not include any of the above. My ANIME is split up similarly - Gundams on one channel, non-gundam scifi on another, and then the rest of my anime on its own. 

I do so much work with this on in the background. I loves PseudoTV and XBMC >:O
