hello  everyone  !

just  wanted  to  apologise  i  disappeared  and  messages  have  gone  un-answered  for  some  time.  long  story  short,  i  had  a  baby  in  early  december,  so  she's  3  months  now  (crazy  in  itself),  then  i  unfortunately  lost  my  mum  in  mid-january  so  this  year  has  been  a  whirlwind  to  say  the  least.

i  do  plan  to  eventually  catch  up  and  get  back  to  making  gifs.  i  also  got  a  new  laptop  last  week,  so  getting  that  up  to  date  with  programs,  log-ins  etc.  so  please  bare  with  me.

again,  i'm  so  sorry  for  anyone  that  has  not  had  a  response,  i  promise  i'll  get  round  to  it  as  soon  as  i  can.

hi, i was wondering how you go about coloring your gifs? they're just so pretty & i've been looking to learn

thank you so much! well, i kind of just do the same process every time i look to colour a scene as i'm a creature of habit. i'll of course tweak per scene/show etc. but typically, i'll start off with brightening and dropping the contrast to see what i'm working with. once i can see that, i'll use levels to adjust the colour, and add some contast back in, before going on to use colour balance and selective color to fine tune the details.

depending on the material i'll usually adjust the saturation too, using the hue/saturation layer. but this isn't always, and sometimes i'll drop it, sometimes i'll increase it, it really depends what i'm working with.

i'm more than happy to help you with any psds/colourings for any show, so just pop me a message and i'll see what i can do to help you out!

hi! im really sorry but i can't remember where i got it from, as i've re-named the action itself and i've tweaked it so much over the years i've been using it. but as the original technically isn't mine, it's probably more respectful now to share it. however, i can tell you mine is mostly gausian blur settings, as i like the softness it brings. i don't like gifs too sharpened.
