Drawing Down The Moon Masterclass, BAI Institute, Berlin 2025. I have just completed an art training with Emily Hunt from the BAI Institute. It was full of magic, experimentation, and self-discovery. We are about 15 women from all over the world, sharing our passion for tangible art, surrealism, and witchcraft. During the intense 7 days, we explored topics such as: tarot cards, surrealist collage, magical objects, high weirdness... Learned so much. So many new techniques to put in my work. Out of the spell, a playlist has been created: Witches And a compilation of artists on Pinterest: BAI Artists

Sou apaixonada por zines desde a primeira vez que recebi um, no verão de 2000. Não imaginava o quão longe eles me levariam, ou melhor nos levariam. Porque nunca estou sozinha com zines. Tenho em minha bagagem todaxs as artistas zineiras da América Latina. Foi uma experiência incrível ensinar e aprender sobre Design feelings, thinking e zine methodology na Universidade de Tulane, NOLA-EUA. Foi exatamente 01 mês antes da pandemia nos colocar em quarentena, um privilégio que nem sei como transfigurar. Agradeço em especial Rebecca Atencio pelo convite e à todxs da Tulane University. Sigo tendo os zines como metodologia para despertar criatividade, experimentar técnicas e mergulhar em si.

LA Zine Fest here I go!

Estarei em uma residência artística com o coletivo LA Zine Fest (Los Angeles-Califórnia) no mês de maio, 2018. 

Vou deixar aqui o registro de agradecimento que escrevi para o perzine “The age of Orchid” o meu primeiro zine bilingue em 18 anos de estrada do grrrito mouco poezine.

Greetings!

I would like to thank several special spirits/souls for helping me get this zine done. To get to the 3 months "The Age of Orchid" zine tour. Here goes: LA Zine Fest team, Vanessa Cherrie from Dear Diary Zine Fest Collective, all my queer friends in Rio de Janeiro-Brazil, to all the zinesters around the world who have been keeping the d.i.y. culture alive and punk.

This zine was originally hand-made with poetry in Portuguese by the summer of 2017 after a painful break up. When I decided to create an English version of it I got frozen. I felt my heart in my mouth. Therefore I got love from some friends who had helped me in my journey. Thank you so much, I love you all: Helena Assanti, Milena Olivia, Solaris Juno, Aline Miranda, Hanna Halm, Teenage Micha, Paulo Igor, Gabriela Gelain, Rafaela Ochi, my parents.
